It seems pretty sturdy, but I've only had it a few weeks so will need to update if that doesn't hold true. I purchased the tan color but also would have liked the blue or grey. One positive for me which could also be a negative for some folks: it does not fit my 6' husband well. He says it is too low to get in and out of easily. This means that I never have to fight with him to sit in the chair which works well for me. :-)
