- 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/24/2022Easy set up and fold up. Easy to carry, even for short people because you can grab either of the support bars and carry it like a notebook. Slight rock so not for rocking a baby, for example. Suits our purpose. We needed something portable and these are great. Pocket is handy.
For the casual rocker
DeeDee - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/28/2024We are in love with these chairs. They are padded with a wide and long seat, along with a high back and padding to rest your back and head on. A small amout of mesh for airflow between the padding. They are also sturdy and well made with a nice size cup holder attached. Easy to open, fold, and carry.
WooHoo!
Mom - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/10/2018I bought a red one 2 years ago, and another for one sisters birthday. We both love the comfort and like that it rocks well even in grass. Folds and stores great. Very happy with size and strength, holds large men. Bought this for another sisters birthday also.
Fun color
Roxy - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/21/2021These chairs are durable and made of high quality. They are comfortable and provide nice support. The only things I could complain about are that 1) they are pretty heavy and bulky, and 2) the runners scratch easily, esp when using them on hard or irregular surfaces. I'm not sure how the runners will weather now that they are scratched... they scratched the first time we used them on a soccer field in the grass. We have a different set of chairs that don't actually "rock on runners," but appear to have a hydraulic for the rear legs and these don't scratch since they don't actually rock on the surface. However, they cost quite a bit more and are not as comfortable, nor do they have as ample of surface area for support. Overall, these chairs ...
Excellent quality and comfort
Dr K - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/1/2024This rocking chair was a gift to me. My daughter had one and I loved hers. Surprise surprise. This summer. My neighbor lady came over sat in mine and she said boy. This is a great chair. Long story short she brought over $60 said hey. Pick me up One in blue so we did Everybody that sits in him loves them. Highly recommend this chair
Love this heavy duty rocking chair.
Kerri - 5 out of 5 stars review7/31/2026Great chair. we brought it for our seasonal camp. no worries about picking up cushions to get out of the rain(which always got forgotten), and if it gets wet, it dries in no time. i agree that it's not easily "portable" because of weight and bulk. But at the end of the season it folds for storage with 2 big men helping.Sandra
- 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/15/2022Bought a pair of these for some friends of mine as a gift of appreciation. They loved them. They told me their very easy to set up, but very sturdy. They said their very well built and comfortable.
Great gift
GABEJUDE - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/20/2018I bought this for my wife. She absolutely loves it. Then I sat in it, and told her to forget it, it's mine!! :) Probably going to end up buying another one!~
Fireside Comfort!~
Sean - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase6/2/2018I love this chair! It is by far the most comfortable chair I have purchased. The main problem is our guest go straight for it and I don’t get to use it much! The only criticism is that you sit almost too far back in the chair. At rest, you are leaning a bit back, not straight.
Great rocker
Pam - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/5/2019This is a very nice quality portable rocking chair. We bought it to keep in the back of our vehicle to use at summer family gatherings and/or when we go camping. We've had some difficulty in trying to close the chair when pushing the red latch in and pulling the chair down to the closed position. The more often we use it though, the easier it seems to get. One other thing to note: the tag on the chair states that the weight capacity is actually 375 LB. Not that it matters to us, but for others who may be wondering about the weight restrictions, I thought the discrepancy with the description on the site should be noted.
Nice quality chair
daycaremom - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/7/2018I bought three different colors of this chair because I saw a lady with one at a baseball game and it looked comfortable. When they came in, they were a lot bigger than I expected, but we're definitely comfortable. Since the size and weight of the chairs are both too much to haul around to games, we'll just keep them at home!
Comfortable Chair
LMontalvo - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase4/10/2024I really like thesr. I bought 2 2 yrs ago in the store and when I saw them online now I bought 2 more. They're pretty comfy and spacious. I'm a bit over-fluffy. I will say the red color has faded quite a bit while sitting on my covered porch. The quality and look are very nice.
Nice quality
Pam - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase7/27/2024This is a nice, sturdy rocking chair and big enough for my husband to feel comfortable in it too. It doesn't fold up small and there's no storage bag like a standard camping chair. So you'll have to have a wide area to put it, even though it does fold flat. I wish the cup holder was more than a long fabric bag as it's difficult to take a can of pop out of it. Overall, we'd recommend it as it is heavy duty and we enjoy the rocking ability.
Sturdy but a little heavy
Joyful - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/16/2022very comfortable spacious seat, however when trying to rock the space where the back of the chair is connected to the "rocker" it bumps like there is no smooth rocking motion. I have tried different place on the grass and on concrete, but that doesn't help. very disappointed as i purchased two for my front porch.
Spacious ' NOT so rocking' Chair
Pamela - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/16/2024I purchased a blue & grey for my patio. They are pretty large so they take a bit of room. I found the chairs to be a good size when seated there is plenty of room. I spend a lot of time outside since we have great weather here so the rocker was used for about a week daily. Honestly, it was not very comfortable. Also, the rocker I had was very squeaky which was annoying to me. Unfortunately, I returned both of mine.
Not as good as I expectged
Shook1 - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase11/29/2021this rocking chair the moment it arrived! everything worked fine! But after the days went by, it started making a very ugly noise when rocking, I don't know why, I kept it because I thought it was normal, everything else is fine. for that reason I give it 3 stars
a lot of noise when moving
Margarit - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/12/2024I wanted to love this chair, but the seat is just too low to the ground. I thought about adding a cushion but then the armrests are too low. Other than that, it’s a nice chair. It folds up pretty easily & doesn’t take up too much space.
Great chair for shorter or younger people..
CJ - 2 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase3/27/2020The chairs have a problem I didn't notice at the store then I first saw them. Even though the rock very nice and are comfortable to sit in, the rocking rails on the bottom are painted metal. The problem is if you use them on any hard surface, concrete, it quickly wears the paint of the rails. And we all know what bare metal does, Rust!!! So not only are the a mess to handle and store, they leave rust stains on my patio. So if you but these chairs, remember to but a rug to put under them before you wear the paint off.
Some Issues
Chuck - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/19/2019I bought this chair as an anniversary present for my husband. The first time he sat in it, it collapsed. We set it up again, and again it collapsed. The armrests broke and the chair will not stay in an upright position. What a waste of $60 (with tax and shipping). Thank goodness he wasn't hurt. By the way, it is rated for up to 325 lbs and he doesn't weigh anywhere near that.
Poor Construction
Pat - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase4/3/2024We ordered 2 blue chairs. We received 1 black chair. The shipping box said black. We called customer service to return and get the blue chair we ordered. Customer service confirmed that the 2nd blue chair was on the way. When we received chair #2, it was also black. We called customer service again. We had to return the 2nd chair. We placed another order for 2 blue chairs. Guess what?!? They were also black. Sams usually does a better job than this.
Disappointed
