I have used Equate drops with olopatadine with no problem. I have used ketotifen and never had a problem. Both worked very well. I got the 3 pack of Pataday. The first time I used it in one eye, my eye got itchy and it felt like someone was pressing on my eyeball. I used it again with the same problem. I didn't want to give up so the third time I used it was the worst. I spent the rest of the day with cold compresses on my eye. Having used drops with the same drug it has to be the brand. Either the strength or an additive caused the problem or it was contaminated.

I've used Pataday .2% for several years, when it was prescription only, brand name OTC, and the Equate brand. This is my first time trying the .7% because that's what Sam's carries and the drops are super sticky! Like my eyelashes stick to my eyelids and my eyelids stick together. After it dries, it peels off like I've got glue on my eyelids. I've never had this problem with the .2%. It's possible that I ended up with a bad batch, but I definitely won't keep using this. I don't see other complaints about it, so maybe it's a bad batch? Or maybe that's just what the .7% is like...
