I had been looking for a new trashcan for months now that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. Picked this up on sale and I absolutely love it! The slow closing lid is great and I love the removable dinner bin for this times when nasty trash gunk manages to leak through the bag. Would recommend you get this if your in the market for a new traah can!

Red Kitchen Wastebasket looked great out of the box. Now, a few weeks later, I find that the red finish scratches very easily. Even wiping it with a damp sponge leaves scratches. Hard to maintain in normal kitchen use. Regular stainless steel would have been a better choice.

It was just the right size...my other trash can was large and I couldn't lift it when full...this makes me lift lighter loads...I have severe back problems so heavy lifting is out of the question ...I am a senior girl...and I love the lid that I step on it and it slides closed easily!!! but I have over filled it a few times...it can compact

I selected the gold can and it is beautiful. As a matter of fact, I ended up ordering 4 of them. Why, you may ask? Because each and every one of them was scratched or dented! It was THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE experience! To Sam's credit and their customer service representative, May, I must say they were very responsive and did all they could to be helpful. I needed the can so I just gave up by he fourth attempt and kept the dented can. So, if you order this beauty, just know she may be flawed.

The step makes it so easy to throw trash away when your hands are full. I definitely recommend this step trash can. The quality is great and so is the price.
