We’ve had our trash can for years. It does have some flaws but it’s been great. When stepping on the pedal, it will open fast but if close to the counter, it’ll let you know. It closes slowly and quietly, which is excellent, keeping all of the odor trapped once closed. It does leave finger prints, as our babies let us know. Final flaw has been the top of the lid, inside, doesn’t have the same glossy protective lining and if dirty, can cause the dirt to stick. But overall, especially for the cost and durability, we’d by another if needed, it has been great.

I was very much impressed when I receive my package. This is no ordinary take out the trash can! I ordered the red can, and it adds a pop of color to my kitchen and compliments any storage area. I was pleasantly surprised that it’s larger than expected. The inside is very roomy and actually fits a normal 13 gallon liner bag. The lid closes quietly. The delivery came within 3 business days!

I ordered the black, expecting a nice stainless steel finish like in the pictures and description, but it's a cheap black glossy finish. If I keep it, it will scratch badly and look terrible in no time. To make things worse, it came with a 5-inch dent on one of the edges. I'm frustrated that I wasted money on shipping this.

It's absolutely not smudge resistant, its easy to smudge like any stainless steel maybe even more so. The quite close is quiet until the last second then the lid shuts with a "bomp" Otherwise it's a really nice looking garbage can and the step works well, the slow close is slow until the last 2" then "bomp" 4 stars it will do

I really wanted this trash can in black as the silver one they had in store looked beautiful. I ordered it online in black and unfortunately 3 times it came dented/scratched. I ordered a replacement for the 4th time and again… dented but I don’t want to call anymore as it may happen again, so just look carefully!

Ordered in red, disappointed it looks more orange. Noted a scratch on the lid but decided to keep it. Had I not recycled the box, I would return it. The first time used, soft closed fine. Every time after use, the soft close works so far down then drops making an annoying noise. It serves it's purpose.

We bought this trash can and really like the looks of it, but after some time we noticed that the foot petal wasn’t quite working right and over time it just got worse. Today I flipped the trash can over to see if I could figure out what the problem was. I discovered that the foot pedal was actually cracking along the pivot bar. I guess the pressure over time just made it start to crack. You would think that the foot petal would have been reinforced by a metal plate instead of just being plastic.

I have now bought this trashcan two times. The first trashcan I bought lasted two years before the step to open the lid broke. I purchased it again thinking maybe I just bought a defected one for it to one last 2 years. The second one I bought lasted less than a year. The same thing happened I went to go step on the lever to open up the lid and it broke.

It does exactly what you want it to, opens when you step on it. When researching this trash can I saw a number of reviews stating their step pedal broke within 6 months and I have no idea how they managed that. It's a 1/4 inch metal bar, so long as youre not jumping on it like a trampoline it won't break. Simple design.

Love this trash can. Received a Red one for Christmas and it’s absolutely beautiful. I love it. It comes with a refresher that fits into the lid to keep the can smelling nice that you replace every 60 days. Also, the inside “liner” is removable for easy cleaning if needed. It fits a 13 gallon trash bag better than any trash can I’ve ever owned also!
