The Uncured Pepperoni is a larger disc compared to regular pizza-type pepperoni. So, we cut the discs into quarters most of the time. Being uncured, there are few if any preservatives. So use this pepperoni soon after opening. The pepperoni is tasty. Because there is a good amount in the package, we opened and divided the amount into smaller vacuum-sealed packages and tossed those in the freezer.

Never had issues with this until recently - opened two recently purchased boxes and they smelled sour/spoiled - did not taste right either. Returned and exchanged for two new and the next two were OK. Purchased two more today and they both smell slightly sour and lack the pepperoni taste. They simply don't smell or taste normal as they have in he past. Did they change the ingredients or could be an issue of the store leaving the food in the heat for too long? I have not gotten sick from it but my simply smelling it after opening tells me something is off. Will be returning and probably not purchasing this item anymore. Is anyone else having this issue with this product?

Really disappointed in this item! This WAS a family favorite but for the last several months it has been awful. Often times it smells rancid as soon as you open a brand new package. I have had to return several packages and will not be buying it again. Did you change the recipe? If so PLEASE change it back. :-(

Seems like the new packaging does not seal properly, and within days of opening, meat starts to turn "white" on the exposed edges getting moldy, causing meat to expire rapidly. The slices taste great, but it's a waste if you don't eat the whole pack within a week or less. Packaging needs to be fixed.

I’ve bought several times over the years, but the last few purchases have not been good. I actually returned it and got a new one this last time, but it also has turned before I can use it up. Sometimes the meat is discolored and has a funny taste. It’s well within the expiration date and is kept in the fridge, but seems to not be good. Probably won’t be buying this anymore anymore.
