Grew up on Country Crock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up, there was always a tub of country crock on the table to pair with veggies, potatoes or bread. To me, it was butter. When I got the opportunity to try a new recipe for country crock for free, i jumped on it. It was just as I remembered, a smooth spread and rich oily taste. As an adult, I usually prefer butter and in this case, that remains true. But, its nice to know that some things never change :)

Love the Tub!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country Crock has been a product used in my household for as long as I can remember! I love the smooth, creamy texture and the ease of getting the product from a tub rather than a stick of better! It makes everything better!

Country Crock Orginal

County Crock Orginal is 38% vegetable oil spread that is buttery, creamy, and rich. It's made with farm grown ingredients and slow-churned in Kansas, giving it a country fresh flavor with no artificial preservatives or flavors. It's great on bread and pastries. I use it in my cooking and baking to give my food richness and full of flavor.

Absolute best creamy taste ever!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Country Crock Original spread, it has the best rich tasting creamy richness of any brand I have tried. Country Crock always makes my dishes taste amazing adding just the right amount of buttery goodness.

Good taste, though salty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally I cook with unsalted butter because I like to have most of the control over the salt content of the food that I cook. Though I did find the Country Crock Original to be very salty, I did really love the flavor of the butter. Though I would prefer to cook with regular butter, I think that for things like pancakes, waffles, and toast- where you would want a distinct butter flavor, this was superior to butter. I tried this spread on pancakes and toast and I much preferred it to regular butter because I was able to use less to get a butter flavor and the spread-ability was far superior. When I used butter on the pancakes, I had to melt it to the point of being liquified and then it just made things soggy. I think it's nice to have this at home as an alternative when I need it as a flavoring and not just as a cooking component.

Please, change it back!

I don't have an old container to compare the ingredient list to, but the new recipe tastes absolutely horrid. It has almost a cheese-like flavor. I've tried using it for my scrambled eggs, and it ruined them with the over-powering flavor. I put it on my toast, and stuck the toast in the microwave to melt it in, like I have in the past, and it doesn't soak in. It just separates and sits on top, looking gross. I've also used it in a box of Pasta Roni garlic and olive oil vermicelli, and the pasta was very oily in concentrated spots. I couldn't even taste the garlic over the terrible margarine flavor. I'm highly disappointed with the recipe. I even stocked up on two tubs of the stuff, and don't know how I'll make it through both of them. This upsets me, because Country Crock was the only spread I liked. I've used them for roughly 15 years. I can't even think of a decent substitute.

Delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delicious! I purchase the 45 oz Country Crock churn style. I received a free coupon from Influenster in exchange for my review, all options are my own. This butter was delicious. Tasted super fresh, light and creamy. Great for a piece of toast or baking!

Love the taste!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to other butters, my household loves Country Crock. It has the best taste and texture out of everything we have tried. We love using it for baking, cooking, and even on grilled cheese sandwiches.

Better than I thought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a coupon for free counrty crock from influencer in exchange for a review. I decided to make cookies and I'm glad I did! My cookies never seem to turn out right when I make them. They usually turn out hard or thin. With counrty crock, they turned out perfect. They had a great buttery flavor and turned out moist.

Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have eaten this brand of butter since I have been letting it it was a household name and still is a very strong presence in our house. There are many different types so you have a selection and overall taste is amazing.
