With so many uses and swaps for caloric levels compared to butter, I'm not sure why anyone would use butter to begin with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family uses only country crock and have for years. We prefer the added calcium style. The new recipe is nice because it is thicker and doesn't run off your food and make a soggy mess on your plate.

I have been happily using this product for many years. I recently purchased the new tub that is rectangle, and thought, ooh I like the new shape! That evening I made mac n cheese and it tasted funny. Our family are BIG mac n cheese eaters and evwryone that comes over loves when I make it. Not only did I not like it, but my husband and son did not like it. Not wanting to waste the food, I offered it to our 3 rotweillers, who refused to eat it. So I put it outside for the nightly visitors to enjoy. Imagine my surprise when a stray dog, a dumped cat, and 2 opposums refused to eat the food! The only change was the "new and improved" Shed's Spread. This stuff is going into the trash. If this company does not bring back the original they will lose many loyal customers. If you want to add this new product to your line up, put it under a different label....it is NOT the original! Right now I am headed to the store to find a suitable replacement so I don't disappoint an autistic birthday boy this weekend!

I have only like Country crock original butter in my 20 years of life. And now, unfortunately I'll have to find something else that I may like. This new recipe is terrible. It's so off. I thought I was sick because the taste was so wrong. But no, it's this yucky butter. The new container is cool but it's called original butter for a reason. Will not buy the product ever again until a change is made and announced.

I’m 58 and I can’t get the lid to go on correct I have a 78 yr old mom and she has difficulty if you want people young and old to keep buying your product make lid for older people that have difficulty in hands, product is good make lid easier, thank you Danette Bird

The original spread is still my favorite... it always feels a little nostalgic and like going home to see it on my table!
