My mom didn't know the difference when I served her toast with Country Crock over toast with butter! When I told her, she was mad, until she decided that it may actually have been tastier! This was delicious!

My parents served us Country Crock as kids, but I don't remember it tasting like this as a kid! It's smoothness makes it easy to add it to toast and the taste is just plain delicious! My 10 year old son was raised on pure butter, but when I spread Country Crock on his toast the other day, he even said it was delicious! He noticed the difference and now prefers it over butter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We redeemed the coupon that we received for testing purposes for the sticks because we were trying to make it the most like butter as we could. My husband uses Country Crock instead of butter and prefers it. The rest of us are butter lovers. We made the cookie recipe and U added crushed toffee bar and I baked some rollo's in the other half of the dough. The cookies weren't bad but there is definitely a difference over butter. I wouldn't bake with it again.

We used it on waffles and pancakes, rolls and biscuits, bread to make grilled cheese and in a pan to fry my veggies. All of these were delicious! Thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family loves the original Country Crock butter. We use it to make grilled cheese sandwiches, we add it to our mushrooms when they are being saute, we put drops of it over our chicken when we are baking it. I have to say though baking with it is my favorite. I love the fact that it is so soft and I can place a small amount into a glass bowl and microwave it at 10 second intervals to completely melt it. The new "original" recipe seems creamier than the old original, which I love. I also love that the new tub isn't round. I found the old rounder tub made it bulky and hard to place neatly in the fridge. Now it comfortably fits inside our drawers taking up no more space than necessary.

I love that I can use it with everything I cook in the kitchen. I used it for baking, sauteing and as a garnish for veggies. My family loves it so much that we use it every day. I think it's a great alternative to butter (even though I really prefer the taste of real butter) and it doesn't make me sick like other spreads have in the past. I use it for everything!

I liked the texture, it was creamy and melted on my toast well without making it wet. I also enjoyed the flavor reminds me of unsalted butter. I performed well when I cooked with it, didn't burn out leave any word flavor. I would buy again.

Apart from it being a contradiction in terms, this new "original" Country Crock tastes nothing like the original. It is not an improvement. It is, quite frankly, more than disappointing it is practically inedible - such a shame - used to love the "original" Original. Time say goodbye to an old friend - time to switch brands I'm afraid.
