Now that I taste it again as an adult, however, I realize that I prefer butter's taste and quality better. I got Country Crock for free in return for my honest review of the product.

Some butter spreads I've tried before get kind of hard a few days after opening and become more like a solid stick of butter. This has maintained its texture so I can grab it out of the fridge and use it immediately. It doesn't have my favorite flavor, but I like salted irish butter so I'm just not used to it. Great to spread on toast!

I love that it is easily spreadable and you don't have to fight with your bread. While it doesn't have the taste of real butter when you are sautéing, it's perfect for baking, using on bread or crackers and melting for popcorn!

I personally don't usually buy products that contain dairy beings my daughter is lactose intolerant but I will definitely start keeping some of country crock on hand for myself. I tried to make cookies again and they didn't turn out right. The butter was good in my banana bread though and of course on toast and in veggies. It's the same as I remember, smooth with a soft buttery taste, not oily or slimy. perfect for anything you want to spread it on!

In baked goods it gives just the right amount of buttery flavor and it's not too sweet in savory dishes! And if your just looking for a good spread on some corn bread-this is your stuff! Has just enough salt and is so super smooth! I never buy another brand! Luckily I also got a free coupon for a tub through influenster! Even though I received this product for free, my opinions are completely my own!

In my house we use Country Crock regularly. I appreciate the add-in's, like Calcium and the vitamins. However, the Original was so creamy and easy to spread, I couldn't wait to taste! From the toast in the morning to the corn off the cob for dinner, the whole family was impressed with the taste of this Country Crock spread.
