I was surprised to find out that they changed a perfectly good recipe and a little nervous to be honest. I used the new recipe for the family favs; mac-n-cheese, rice crispies, and pancakes! No one in my family new that the already excellent recipe had been changed to a much healthier version and I wasn't going to tell them, that's for sure! So I give this product a thumbs up! So when I got the chance to review this for my honest opinion I was so excited! I got it and the white seal was leaking butter through it. I am sorry but I did not want to give it a try. Talking to a great friend of mine, they let me give it a try. And omg was it great! I can say my grandpa would love it just as much as before if not more!! I encourage everyone and anyone to give it a try!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a free sample of the product in exchange for my honest review. However, Country Crock has always been the buttery spread in my fridge for as long as I can remember. Love the taste and the price is right!

Anyone who uses Country Crock for a long time has now noticed the flavor change and your food taste like that flavor. Mac and cheese tadte aweful, eggs etc.. They changed the ingredients in it and it is nasty. I know this, I use to merchandise it and had to go through a complete PK training in Atlanta for it.

I was familiar with country crock as it was used often in my house when I was younger but I hadn't used it in a very long time. When I bought it I found that it had a new packaging which I liked the smaller square made it easier to store but I did find I didn't care for the cover as I felt it didn't seal as well as the old. Once open it was still creamy, buttery and easy to spread. Found I still liked it in baking and cooking and originally thought oh wow it hasn't changed in years. But then I tried it on toast and muffins and found that the taste is different and seems to have too much of a fake taste in those situations. Which was too bad cause it held up to the old till then.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to keep this in the fridge because it's great to use on veggies, in recipes, and especially on grilled cheese. It's soft enough to spread, but didn't have that weird flavor of some spreadable butter.
