I am a fan a real butter, but if you don't have the foresight to take it out of the fridge before you need it, you get torn bread. Country Crock helps solve that problem. It has a nice creamy taste and spreads well. It also melted really easily on my Sunday morning waffles, filing the little waffle holes with buttery yumminess. I haven't used this for baking so I am not sure how well it will perform in recipes, for as a spread it exceeds expectations, without any "oily" taste that a lot of other spreads have.

I have had to stop buying Country Crock since the new recipe came out. I purchased one tub and it was just an unpleasant taste to me and I couldn't use it with anything I prepared anymore. I will miss you old recipe. We had a great run and stood beside you when Country Crock protesters would campaign against you, but its just not an enjoyable taste to me anymore. My quest for your replacement has already began.

I am very familiar with Country Crock, and have known about it (thanks to commercials and grandparents) since I was a little kid. With that said, I am not a huge fan of non butter spreads. To me they just don't taste right, nor do they offer me the butter taste I am looking for. I personally would not normally purchase this product, but if a friend asked for a non butter spread recommendation I would share this with them. I am just not a huge fan of the taste of this or any other non butter spread, and I don't feel that they have the best benefits for my foods. Positives of this though are this spreads easily, is an alternative to butter spreads for those who don't use butter, and it is very well priced. Overall it is just not for me, but I am not opposed to recommending it to others.

I really enjoyed using this product although I usually don't buy from this brand. I'm a little skeptical of "non-butter" butters, but this one was surprisingly good! My cookies turned out perfect and tasted amazing. I might have to go out and repurchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like the new recipe for country crock. It is great for baking and tastes just as good if not better than when I was a kid. My biggest downfall with this product is that it doesn't melt well. I like to use butter and spreads to cook in when I am using my frying pan and it just doesn't melt as well as the original recipe or other spreads/butter

i thought my terrible experience with country crock was a fluke -- until i arrived here and saw these reviews. I came here intending to alert their quality control of a ruined batch of their margarine. i purchased a tub of country crock at the supermarket -- when i opened it a t home that evening it was partially melted and runny - smelled and tasted unusual .... i have used country crock for decades with no problem -- so i assumed it was just a bad tub that had melted along the way.. no big thing -- i went back to the supermarket and grabbed another tub and came home -- same thing !!! so i thought country crock must have put out a bad batch .... but no !!!! they did this deliberately .... gotta wonder who they tested this product on before switching ----

I absolutely love this product, it's the only butter I purchase because it tastes delicious. My family loves to cook with it and of course butter our rolls. It's definitely the best butter out on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves to bake so i decided to make oatmeal raisin cookies with my kiddos. The results were great. I then decided to let my kiddos have this butter in their noodles. Again the results were great! No one could tell a difference between real butter and Country Crock. My wallet appreciated the price difference for sure. I will continue to use this product for my future cooking.

My family has been using Country Crock products for years. I especially love their flavored butters which gives your food an added flavor without added steps to your recipe. My daughter loves using Country Crock Original spread with her cookie recipes.

I just tasted the new formula which I wasn't aware of until now. I liked the new tub design but to my surprise the taste had changed with it. It also has a strange smell. This is the only brand of spread I have purchased in years but if the original taste doesn't reappear, i will have to abandons this product. In summary I feel like your new formula is an attempt to create a butter taste but failed. If I wanted a butter taste I would just buy butter.
