In fact, for some things, I like Country Crock better than butter. I like that it's always soft and spreadable, even right out of the fridge! That it spreads so easily, makes it perfect for grilled cheese sandwiches. It works just fine a substitute in baked goods and though I prefer a saltier flavor, it's not bad on toast. It's also more affordable than butter. For frugal shoppers like me that's a big win and the #1 reason I choose Country crock over butter when making my purchasing decision.

I was very pleased to find that, after giving it another try, it worked beautifully in baking projects! The cookies we made were cakey and delicious, just right for little fingers. I also used the tub spread in baking cookies and they came out wonderful. The Country Crock was easy to cream with the sugar in the recipe and produced a great tasting and pretty cookie. My whole family enjoyed the buttery taste of Country Crock. I would but this again.

I was hesitant to use because Country Crock is not real butter but I was proven it can do all the same and taste similar too butter! I used it in making mac n cheese for the kiddos, sauteing veggies, greasing up the pan, banana bread, and as a condiment with dinner. I found Country Crock spread to compliment my needs when cooking. I grew up with Country Crock in my Gram's refrigerator and after my experience recently I will have it in my fridge. I also learned by visiting their website that Country Crock Spread it preservative free and that makes me happy! I recieved this product free in exchange for my honest review.
