I love this. My Granny always used the when I was growing up, and now I know why. It adds such a great taste to everything. I put it on toast in the morning to take me back to childhood memories of eating breakfast at Granny's house before going out on her farm to play.

We use it at lunch time to make perfect crispy grilled cheeses. With dinner we put it on our vegetables. It tastes great

The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the new recipe is too runny for making cookies. I don't melt it, or even let it soften before using it, and it just turns really liquidy in the batter.

The original Country Crock butter tastes fresh and creamy. The butter spreads easily onto whatever you are eating. It is often my choice of preference when shopping for butter or a butter substitute. I honestly can't comment on how it fares calorie or nutrition wise, but I can say that it has a great taste and melts very easily when I cook with it. I love the Country Crock spread and use both the tub and the sticks for baking. But since you have switched to the new square tubs I hate the tubs. They are hard to hold on to and don't seal right. The spread dries out and I have to throw it out before I am 3/4 of the way through the tub. I bought a big tub for Christmas since I was going to entertain, I'm half way through, It's starting to dry out and I haven't had it two weeks and I just dropped it on my foot! I have a bruised foot and a broken tub. I'm changing products till you change tubs.

I purchased the "new Country Crock" and spread it on my toast. I could taste the difference immediately. I told my husband it tasted weird. Of course, he laughed and told me it was my imagination. I couldn't eat the toast or anything else with new Country Crock
