I love the taste of butter, but I hate how hard it is to spread. Country Crock Original is so creamy and smooth. It tastes great on toast and pancakes, and melts beautifully on corn on the cob. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

I don't know why they had to come up with a new recipe, but if you should at least give us the opportunity to buy the program recipe. My wife and I have eaten country crock for like 30 years and this new recipe is not good and we will not buy it again.

I've used it in baking, frying, I've used it with garlic to make a dipping sauce for crab legs and as a topping on garlic biscuits. You really can't go wrong with this product. If you want the delicious home cooked taste, use country crock!

When your Shedd Spread first came out my family, who had always used Blue Bonnet, switched because it tasted so much like real butter. When you changed your containers you also changed the flavor. WHY? Now it tastes like Blue Bonnet. YUCK! Now I am going to have to find a new spread because I don't like yours any more. If you go taste Land-O-Lakes whipped butter that is what Shedd Spread used to taste like. I am going to miss the easy way your spread, well, spreads. When you regain your senses and go back to the original recipe please e-mail me and let me know.

I've used Country Crock for as long as I can remember.(I'm 51 years old) I recently bought your new simple recipe spread and was revolted by its flavor. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the batch, so I bought another one. But it tastes just as bad! I can't even stomach the food I cook with it. Sorry, but I guess I'll be changing to another brand. Searching frantically now for something that tastes close to your original. Please bring the original back!!!!!!!!!! PS- I wish there was a "no star" choice for rating, that's what your simple recipe should get.

The taste is smooth and not to salty. It's great on toast by itself or to cook my favorite cookies with. I received this product for free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a staple around my house for years! If you like your butter to be creamy and spreadable, then this is the butter for you. It almost melts in your mouth! If I try to cook without it my kids won't eat what I make!
