I used the Country Crock Spread in my recipe for Rice Krispie trets, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and the Best Sugar Cookies ever. The spread was easy to work with and it melts very easy for any recipe.

I used the Country Crock Spread in my recipe for Rice Krispie Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwiches. The spread was easy to work with. It melted quickly in the microwave and the dessert turned out great! The Rice Krispie Bars were sweet and chewy like they are supposed to be. They were fun to make and we really liked the added cookie dough and the mini chocolate chips that were pressed around the edges of the ice cream.The spread is perfect for slathering on toast, grilled cheese, biscuits and rolls, and much more. It's smooth and easily spreadable unlike refrigerated butter. It also had a great taste . But I wouldn't use it in baking. I like to use real butter for baking especially in cookies because margarine makes cookies fluffy instead of chewy

We use Country Crock at least a few times of week from buttering our toast to baking cookies. It is seriously a great product that I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a few years since I have purchased Country Crock though back then I thought it was pretty good. I mostly purchase butter now but occasionally purchase butter-like spreads. When I was given the chance to test this product, I had no reservations. Unfortunately it did not taste how I remembered it. It had an "off" taste and while looking like butter does not come anywhere close in flavor (I know it's not supposed to taste just like it but it is unsettling to me how different it tastes while trying to look the same). I don't know if it is the recipe change or if my taste buds have changed over the years. It's still ok, definitely edible but not something that I would buy. My kids liked it just fine though they are not picky (unless we are talking veggies).

I have tried other brands that roll and don't stay on the bread or doesn't melt very well. This passed on both tests. The kids all gave it a thumbs up as they can spread it themselves without yelling for mom to do it. It has a nice light flavor that is just right.
