But when you NEED chocolate chip cookies, you'll try anything. Thankfully, I didn't have to resort to using anything weird, because I had a tub of Country Crock in the fridge. I was a little hesitant, as I'd never used it in baking before. It turns out I shouldn't have worried! My cookies came out fantastic and my craving is satisfied!

Now my daughter does the same to me. There's something about the flavor and texture of Country Crock that always keeps us coming back for more.

It's a great spread that has fewer calories than butter, and I made a great chocolate chip cake with it. It's also great on toast and spreads easily. I usually don't go out of my comfort zone when it comes to cooking but when I received the coupon from influenster I said why not! My son loves to have toast with his eggs and I really enjoyed the ease upon spreading this butter. Also, I try to avoid the butter with a really strong buttery taste and this one was just what I seek out when I use butter. Will definitely repurchase

I used to stay away from most buttery spreads because they were made with hydrogenated oils, a big no-no in our house. I prefer a buttery spread to butter for things like spreading on toast or adding to veggies since it is easier to spread and I like the healthier oils. But Country Crock was not a brand I thought would be H.O. free AND taste good. I was wrong! It has very simple ingredients and tastes very buttery. Plus, I love that it's easy to spread and use. I will definitely consider buying more when my sample runs out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In our home we typically use real butter, however it's not spreadable unless you go through the task of canning to make it spreadable and shelf stable. Out of all the spreads our there, Country Crock has the best taste. It looks natural, spreads easily and tastes great. Country Crock was anyways the spread that we used when I was growing up. If you're looking for a spread, this is the one to try!

My husband won't eat any other brand of margarine. It just makes everything taste great, from vegetables to desserts. He even puts it on spaghetti! I use it for frying, baking, stove top recipies, and on my breakfast bagel. I'm glad we found County Crock years ago and have not found anything better since.
