Recently I received a coupon to try Country Crock for free and I was pleasantly surprised. It was so tasty and creamy. I loved how it melted easily and I also loved the container that it came in. It is so much nicer than using stick butter. Easy and quick to spread. I am sold on this item now! Thanks for letting me try it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country crock original in the space saving tub is perfect for my family. We use butter or margarine almost every meal. From toast to mashed potatoes. It is so smooth it spreads on bread easily with out tearing. The butter flavor is delicious and only has 50 calories. The shape of the container makes it an easy fit in the fridge.

I usually don't purchase country crock, because it's not sweet cream butter, which I like. However being able to use this spread made it very easy to spread over every thing. It would be nice if this product offered a sweet cream spreadable version. Now that I would buy all the time.

This is a great spread to cook with or to spread on bread. It is very light and not an oily spread. The tub is a nice size also. It does not take up too much space in the refrigerator. I use the spread a lot during breakfast. When cooking eggs in the morning for my family it is a great spread to use. I do not feel like I am using something that is not healthy for my family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this in several recipes as I wanted to give it a fair chance. In all my recipes it just didn't deliver the flavor we like. We are purists though, and prefer butter to any alternative so I am a bit biased. We all felt the texture was a bit off also so I would not recommend or buy this again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family was very please with the taste of this product. It was very smooth and the taste was amazing! We normally grab what ever is the cheapest when buy this type of product but you have won our family over with this product.

The new rectangular container is terrible.  It's very thin plastic, and the lid does not firmly snap on.  It come off very easily if bumped in the fridge.  It is not airtight, and the top layer of the spread turns a bright yellow color if not used for a few days.  The container is not worth saving for leftovers, etc. so more plastic is being discarded in the trash/recycle.  Also the new recipe tastes bad.  I will not be buying Country Crock in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to keep this in the fridge because it's great to use on veggies, in recipes, and especially on grilled cheese. It's soft enough to spread, but didn't have that weird flavor of some spreadable butter.
