Well I got a new mixer for the holidays and I finally had time to use it to make some cookies for the family. Looking at healthier options for each of the ingredients is easy but making sure your recipes still taste great is hard! Country Crock offers a lower calorie and lower fat option compared to regular butter and the taste is great. I have been using it to substitute for butter for a few weeks to really try it out and I don't even notice a difference. Healthier living starts with making small choices everyday that maybe only mean saving a few calories or grams of fat and this helps you do that and tastes great! Cookies turned out perfect!

I've been using Country Crock religiously for 20 years and now I have to either switch or pray they bring back the original. The new taste is absolutely horrible and I can't even stomach it. I have never used another butter product and am honestly extremely disheartened they changed the recipe because now I cannot enjoy any of my recipes that call for butter. I also cannot use it to fry things because it fries differently- and not in a good way!! Never buying this again until they change it back, because as mentioned, I can't even stomach the new taste.

In terms of health I don't think it's great for you - I think if you're going to have butter you should just have the real stuff. It didn't taste bad but maybe too buttery/sweet (I don't know to explain it) for me. I won't be purchasing again after the container, which is huge btw, is empty. I will purchase this once I'm out. I'm enjoying it on other cheat meals such as toast, pancakes, and waffles. I highly reccomemed this butter.

PLEASE go back to the original recipe! I have been a royal Shedds Spread buyer for years. Never used anything else!!!! Now, thanks to the idiots who changed the recipe, I will not buy this garbage again. I will be advising my friends to stay away from it too. Go back to the original recipe before all of us find a new brand.

It goes SO great with my creamy mashed potatoes, in my potato soup, in my cookies/butter bars, or just on a piece of toast. By far my favorite buttery goodness in a tub! Normally I don't plan out my baking and get frustrated that I have to wait until the butter softens. Using Country Crock made last minute baking easier. Country crock butter is the tastiest butter I have tried yet! It is so smooth and soft! Country crock is very easy to spread on toast compared to other butter spreads I have tried which is a big plus for my family. you can make so many tasty creations with country crock! It is great to cook with, to put on toast or crackers also! I will defiantly be purchasing country crock from now on!
