[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been purchasing country crock for many years. I use it to bake with as well as cook with. I have one child who is obsessed with butter. He loves it on everything. And he doesn't like when I try and change it.

My family and I really love this stuff! It tastes great in anything we use it in or on and we especially like how easy it is to spread even though it was the original and not the spreadable version! The container fits nicely in the fridge being less bulky than the previous container they used and they make great containers for leftovers or lunches when they have been emptied. Their price was around the same for other brands but honestly we liked the taste of the Country Crock to our usual brand. I would most certainly recommend Country Crock to my family and friends!

I am 37 and have been using Country Crock since I was a teenager. I now buy the one with added omega 3. I have had my cholesterol checked and my blood doctor told me that I must be doing something right because I am very healthy. My cholesterol levels are ideal, he said whatever I am doing to keep it up. I eat a lot of healthy nuts as well, but anytime I need butter I use Country Crock. My blood pressure is on the low side of normal. He said at this rate I should not have any concerns with my cholesterol or blood pressure. I am overweight for other reasons, and have a family history of heart disease. So I have the cards stacked against me, but I truly believe Country Crock has contributed to my current heart health status.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavor is okay, and it's nice that it's spreadable, but I'd rather use real butter. With butter I know I'm eating cream, not a bunch of weird ingredients. I can just leave the stick of butter out in a container if I want it soft.

It was soft, which was great but I'm not a huge fan of the taste. It also was a weird texture as it was melting in the pan. It wasn't awful but it was not great either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wasn't sure what to expect. It has been years since I have used a anything but real butter. However, I thought I'd give the Original spread a try. I made two batches of Chocolate Chip and Walnut cookies. What I really liked was that I didn't have to remember to soften the butter as the spread was ready to go right out of the fridge. It mixed quite well with the other ingredients and the whole batch was ready in less than 5 minutes to go in the oven. After 12 minutes, the cookies were done. The cookies were light and fluffy. A win! Then, I tried the spread on a piece of bread. Well, this is where the butter wins. This has a good texture and spreads well, but no real buttery flavor. I will be trying this spread in a few other recipes that I would normally use vegetable oil. Overall, I wasn't disappointed. I'm not certain if I will repurchase this when I finally run out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with my tub of original country crock, and the new recipe. The flavor is new and improved. The and taste and texture is great. The margerine is smooth and creamy. The Margarine only has 50 calories but is still very tasty. This is a very health choice for butter and it taste great on just about anything.

Given the opportunity, I would give this new recipe a negative rating. It has ruined everything I've used it for. The taste is just horrible. At present it is taking up valuable space in my refrigerator as I will never use it on anything else. In fact, I'd like to return it for a refund, total waste of money. Bring back the original recipe please!

It's so spreadable and easy to put on breads. I didn't know if I'd be a fan, but I must admit, I like it!!! Thanks COuntry crock and Influenster!! So gooood!

I have used county crock for 15+ years and loved it butt the new recipe taste really bad. I have switched to a different brand butter and still don't like it as good as I like Country Crock but I will not go back to Country Crock until they go back to their original recipe. When you have a good product that everybody likes why would you change it because nobody likes change unless it's for the better and this is definitely not for the better.
