However most of the time I am buying a substitute for butter it is because I want something dairy free.

It is sweet, buttery and glides onto food smoothly which is exactly what I need in a spread. Great taste at a great price. I used it in most of my baking & cooking. Unlike some butter substitutes, Country Crock can be used without any worries about giving up taste or texture for healthier food. Highly recommend. If I could give the "New Simple Recipe" zero stars I would. It is absolutely disgusting. Why in the world would they change it except for maybe trying to pull a few extra cents profit out of each tub. I would gladly pay a few extra cents for the real "Original" Country Crock.... Now my butter money goes to Land O Lakes....

You can spread the product right out of the fridge without ripping your bread to pieces. I love that. I haven't used it in baking projects yet so I cannot comment on that aspect yet, but I will purchase it in the future instead of my current product as I prefer the taste of Country Crock. Try it and you will like it.

My family absolutely loved Country Crock original! My 3 year old had such an easy time putting butter on her own bread, she was so happy to do it by herself. The taste is excellent and the container is simple to open. I recieved this as a sample, but my review is my own words and thoughts.
