This is spread very easily on soft bread and on toast. The taste was just buttery enough, without being too overpowering. It wasn't greasy or too Soft like most margarines, a perfect balance! I love when my father made pancakes and waffles or my mother's casserole dishes! Country Crock is a long time favorite of mine I hope to continue the tradition with my daughter. This is a great alternative to butter, especially when you’re up at a summer cottage and can’t leave butter out. This is great on toast or baked potatoes. As for price I’d say it’s comparable to other similar products, but I would definitely choose country crock over others simply for the taste.

I've eaten Country Crock all my life, it WAS the only butter I use because I'm very picky and am very disappointed in this new recipe. At least I'm not the only one who feels this way. PLEASE for everyone and mine's sake, change it back to the original Country Crock.

I have been eating country crock original for over 35 years! Everybody in my family uses it!! It was the only "butter" I have ever known! Then I bought the changed recipe.... Disgusting!! My kids took one bite and refused to touch it! I tried to melt some in a pan for eggs, it looked Nasty with white spots! I will never buy country crock again.... Unless they go back to the old recipe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seriously some of the best butter, and I grew up on a farm in Mississippi where we had a cow and made our own butter (it was called pearly butter since the cows name was pearly... just fyi). This is much easier to get... since I don't have to make it! And it taste fresh and even better in cookies!!! Which is what I made with it... and also put it on toast ;)
