I have been using Country crock for years, and it has yet to let me down. It spreads great, tastes so fresh and goes with pretty much everything I cook. This has been and will continue to be my favorite spread! I especially love the after taste, as I can use it on bread and eat right out the fridge as my favorite treat!

I enjoy using this on toast or anything that I may have to spread it on since it spreads to easily. I baked cookies with this but it didn't make them rise as well as butter might. Good taste, easy to work with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as spreads go, this one isn't too bad. I have a husband who is all about using only real butter. I used this a couple mornings for myself and used the real butter for his toast. I thought the taste was AWESOME, so I used it a few days later on his toast as well. He never knew the difference. He has culinary training and is very picky about what food tastes like. Definitely a win!

I don't love margarine. I think it is too slick, and it doesn't actually taste like butter to me ever. I can't complain about Country Crock merely because it is the best margarine option, in my opinion. Growing up, we used this on and in everything. I am still quite fond of putting it on toast with breakfast. Plus, it is incredibly affordable, and the containers are easily used as Tupperware afterwards.

What a shame that the flavor was changed! It tastes absolutely horrible and I threw away my barely used container never to buy country crock again ... unless they bring back the old recipe. I am so sad that I have to find a new vegetable oil spread, but there is no way that I can eat the yucky taste of the "new recipe".

I was using this spread for all my recipes, ama not paying attention that the recipe for the butter changed, I ruined my dinner dishes. It was AWLFUL. The whole group of people that was at the bbq also has noticed the difference. We will not be buying any of this "new recipe" spread anymore. Wish you'd go back to the old and trusted one that we loved. Also, used to when I would open the tub, my cat would come running for a taste of butter. Since the new change, she comes but sniffs ands walks away.
