As an adult, this continues to be the only brand in my home! I love the taste, the texture and the unlimited amount of uses this brand provides. I will continue to love this brand and make many more yummy treats with my daughter. Country Crock is a main ingredient while making memories with my family!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the original spread for the first time. I received a coupon to try to try the product for free. I wasn't sure what to expect because I usually use organic butter. It was really easy to sauté with because it melts to a vegetable oil consistency and everything cooked evenly. It was also really easy to spread on bread/rolls. I think if you acknowledge it's not supposed to be a replacement for butter but instead something different, it's a good addition to your kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally I cook with unsalted butter because I like to have most of the control over the salt content of the food that I cook. Though I did find the Country Crock Original to be very salty, I did really love the flavor of the butter. Though I would prefer to cook with regular butter, I think that for things like pancakes, waffles, and toast- where you would want a distinct butter flavor, this was superior to butter. I tried this spread on pancakes and toast and I much preferred it to regular butter because I was able to use less to get a butter flavor and the spread-ability was far superior. When I used butter on the pancakes, I had to melt it to the point of being liquified and then it just made things soggy. I think it's nice to have this at home as an alternative when I need it as a flavoring and not just as a cooking component.

I'm not really a margarine type of person, as I prefer to keep real butter in my home. But when I do buy some, it's always country crock brand.! It's the only one that has a good taste, texture, and consistency in my opinion.! It's a good filler for butter.

After YEARS of purchasing CC imagine my dismay of opening my new 5LB tub and practicality gagging on my corn. I thought it was spoiled. Then I noticed the little notice in the corner of a "new simple recipe", simply disgusting is more like it. I will NEVER purchase again and I'm sure I'm not alone. I preferred the old recipe over butter! You have different "flavors" but you get rid of the ORIGININAL, are you kidding me???? Someone dropped the ball and I'm dropping you.

Since it's summer, we've been enjoying fresh corn and I always smother mine with Country Crock spread. Mmm mmm mmm, smooth and buttery kernels for me!

I received this to try free in my Darling Voxbox and am so happy I did! I used it to make my crockpot rice pudding as a surprise for hubby on father's day. Both him and the kids scarfed it and said it was some of the best rice pudding i've ever made. I loved how soft and creamy it was and easy to work with plus it added a great taste as well. Will be repurchasing this in the future!
