I buy Country Crock all the time so the fact that I received a opportunity to get some for free from influenster (in exchange for my honest review) made me very happy! It is a great brand that I would recommend to everyone. It is reasonably priced and the flavor of the butter is perfect. It's not too salty but not too bland and give your food good flavor. I use it to cook with, I use it to spread on my bread and pastries, and I also use it to bake with. I bake a lot, and Country Crock is always my go-to butter. I really like the fact that it is easily spreadable, I don't like Butters that are really hard when they come out of the refrigerator.

While I might prefer the taste of butter slightly, the convenience that Country Crock offers in being always spreadable makes it hard to beat! The Spread also made some delicious cookies, and when you look at the fact that it adds literally half the calories to foods that butter does, it's pretty hard to turn it down.

I always thought it was butter, until I was older and realized it was not. I wondered why the heck people buy this stuff instead of butter- its not even close! However, I recently received a tub for testing and review, and I find that this stuff is different, and tastier than I remember it to be. It has a pretty legit butter flavor and spreads quite easily. I enjoyed it plain on toast, and also used it in mashed potatoes, and it tasted pretty buttery in both! I am glad I was given the opportunity to taste Country Crock again after all these years!

Just purchased over the weekend and noticed the new packaging. I brought it anyway. First thing I tried cooking was eggs and that failed terribly with this spread. Yes I could've used oil but I have always used Country Crock and it has always worked. Tried using it for dinner and still no luck. Takes forever to melt!

The lid doesn't seem to stay on as tight and in the fridge I worry about funky odors. I think that that original product has a very good flavor and a little bit goes a ways on a muffin or toast.

My daughter & I love to bake and baking with Country Crock Original Spread is the ONLY way to go! We made my Mom's secret chocolate chip cookies & the used this product instead of our usual margarine stick butter & the cookies turned out even better! We will definitely be buying this product from now on!

Since you changed to a more simple recipi, i just cant grasp the taste!! Ive been using countrycrock like, forever!! I do not like the taste anymore. It makes my food taste different. Its almost like i put butter flavoring in it, and i hate the taste of butter!!! Sorry, i really loved your brand, but will have to look for something different
