[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, i received a coupon to try this butter for free, to try Country Crock, and i was very very happy with everything about it, It was creamy and sweet and perfect for every meal i cooked and ate it with. It was perfect for my daughter to just spread it on her toast or waffles, easy to apply to delicate hot foods and have it melt and and just make the food 10 times better. From the texture to the taste, my whole family was very satisfied with it. It actually lasted longer then the four pack stick butters we buy, and we buy them a lot, so we have now taken the switch to Country Crock Original butter. spread. My whole family gives it a thumbs up.

I am so very disappointed with the new product. I don't care about the shape of the container...I was a loyal Country Crock consumer...2 tubs a week. I bought the new one the other day, took one taste and gagged. It's horrid. You can no longer cook with it and the taste is nasty. I guess moving on to real butter is the only option left now. You have lost a long, long time and very loyal customer.

My kids and husband were skeptical - I actually made 2 batched one with the CROCK and one with butter......... The Crock cookies won the contest - they were awesome - chewy, delicious and oh so buttery. So easy to make and the taste was excellent. We already use the Crock for basics like toast, pancakes etc. - it can't be beat for spreadablilty and taste.

I am very particular when it comes to margarines/spreads because I despise the taste of butter. Have a hard time finding a margarine because plenty of them taste like butter. When I found Country Crock "original" I fell in love! Now apparently the shape of the tub has been changed so that it is easier to fit in a refrigerator. I opened it up and spreaded it on my bagel as I do every morning, took one bite and spit it out and also threw out the bagel. Why would you change the taste? There are different varieties, i.e. calcium, churn style, etc., which all have a different taste than the original, all of which I can't eat because those do have a buttery taste. Now this simple recipe tastes just like the other styles. Please bring the real original back!

But, this butter was very easily taken out of the tub and works well on everything. I received a complimentary one and was definitely not disappointed by it. Country Crock really is one of the best brands I've had. You don't have to wait for it to soften, it saves a lot of time.

Country Crock spreads so easily...no more globs of hard butter or torn toast, and it tastes great. I also love the new design. It makes it so much can easier to store in the fridge. But when my boyfriend movies he we brought Country Crock with him and I never looked back. I love the texture and the flavor. It is preferred in the morning on my muffin or toast. It wouldn't be morning without Country Crock!

The consistency worried me when on the cookie sheet but the cookies baked into a fluffy, light cookie rather than the dense cookies I'm used to. I have also used this as a spread on my toast & like the creamy taste.
