[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a coupon for a complimentary tub of this Country Crock for review purposes, and it is just how I remember when I grew up on this as a kid- creamy and delicous. I even made cookies with it, which turned out great! Only downfall is having to measure it out when baking with it, rather than using sticks that have measement on the packaging. Otherwise, I loved it, and I think I may just say goodbye to my stick butter, and go back to Country Crock :).

First off I received a complimentary coupon via Influenster. Now, onto my opinion on country crock. I have used this spread for as long as I can remember. I remember my mom using it when I was younger. So, now that is what I use...nostalgic. I found that it's the perfect compliment to any food it's added to wether it's corn, bread or potatoes. I have tried the other variations and they are just as good.

It's just like plastic, it doesn't melt, it doesn't taste like butter. It's horrible. I do not use it, ever. I had to use it for this, so I tried cookies. Well, it ruined them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up on eating Country Crock on my bread, saltines (this was my favorite way to eat it!) and cooking it in food. I used to eat it A LOT. As I got older, my body decided to reject dairy products, including butter. I can still eat it, just not in the quantities that I used to (I rarely cook with it now). I was given a small tub to cook with and spread on things. While the packaging is smaller, the taste is still the same, and I'm really happy about that. The only issue that I noticed is that it doesn't melt as quickly as it used to.

I will let me daughters use it for the upcoming holidays to bake cookies and make other desserts. It is also good and spreads well on just a regular piece of bread. I didn't have a lot of effort on trying it out, since it was already the brad that I normally purchase. It is great for baking and all my recipes have been great up until now. I have quite a hard time adjusting to ingredients in the US since I'm not from here, but this product was a great discovery.

I've used Country Crock for over 35 years until the recipe was changed.... it taste awful and literally ruins everything I've put out on...I don't know why anyone even buys this anymore! For the love of god please go back to the original way it use be! Will never buy again unless that's done... I mean seriously you can keep "your healthy recipe" but also sell the one we all use to know and love... PLEASE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved the taste of country crock, and it's one of the only butter spreads that I will buy for my family. I use it to make my mashed potatoes and I rub it on the outside of my baked potatoes with a little salt, it gives the potatoes the best tasting skin. I will say that I preferred the texture of the spread before they changed the recipe. It was much more firm and I preferred that over the texture now.
