I have purchased country crock before but this was the first time to try it with the simpler ingredients. The flavor is great and light and it spreads very easily for toast or making a grilled cheese sandwich. This consistency felt closer to butter than some other spreads I have used that were too tunny or oily. Will definitely buy again.

Love it! We did receive this product free for testing purposes but it was definitely not the first time trying it. All my opinions are my own.

I used the Country Crock Spread in my recipe for Rice Krispie Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwiches. The spread was easy to work with. It melted quickly in the microwave and the dessert turned out great! The Rice Krispie Bars were sweet and chewy like they are supposed to be. They were fun to make and we really liked the added cookie dough and the mini chocolate chips that were pressed around the edges of the ice cream.The spread is perfect for slathering on toast, grilled cheese, biscuits and rolls, and much more. Let Country Crock make you smile by making your favorite toasted sandwiches taste fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this is so spreadable and does not smoosh my toast. It has a great buttery taste and is very easy to spread right out of the refrigerator. Comes in very handy when a recipe calls for soften butter. I will be purchasing again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the country crock original and found it to be really good for sauteed vegetables. It has a melting point similar to butter, coats the vegetables well, and does not burn. It is so easy to use and spread. The taste is fantastic and reminds me of whipped butter you find at so many of the resturants today. I am definitely a fan now!

I've been using this product for over 20 years and loved it...until now. How can you justify calling this Country Crook Original? If it's a NEW RECIPE then it's no longer the ORIGINAL! When I purchased the new product I didn't notice the "New Recipe" stamp. It wasn't until I made breakfast for the family that we noticed a foul taste in everything we made with it. We ended up throwing out our entire breakfast (which on weekends is WAS our favorite meal) and the tub of Country Crook. It's such a shame that you didn't introduce a new line of products and leave the old ones alone. This way you could let your consumers decide before taking away what was obviously a loved recipe. Another big company changed the recipe back in the 80s and it caused a huge backlash. I hope that this company learns fast!

I LOVE this product. I feel like some butter spreads taste like plastic, as if they’ve taken on the taste of their container, but that has never been the case with Country Crock. It spreads so easy, which a huge pro to me. It’s also affordable. Highly recommend!

I have been using country crocks original margarine for years and I couldn't be happier with it. I use it on my veggies and it doesn't give that off taste that I always got with butter which means that my dad will eat some veggies without smothering them in cheese. I also used it in baking cookies for the first time recently (usually use imperial stick butter) the kids in the neighborhood practically inhaled them, they've always liked my cookies but I think that the margarine gave them a better blend of flavors than the stick butter did.

At home, I'm not the biggest fan of using sticks of butter in everything; but I remember my mom using country crock when I was little to make chocolate chip cookies. I went out and picked this up and made chocolate chip pecan coconut cookies and they are FABULOUS! So soft and chewy and I totally believe the country crock helped to make them as soft and wonderful as they are.
