I was a little worried that the taste/texture would be off from what I was used to, but I couldn't tell the difference! It was just as smooth and easily spreadable as the older versions. Plus it tasted just as delicious! I've been trying to move toward more foods that have less ingredients and was very pleased that Country Crock has moved to a simpler recipe as well. It's perfect for anything from toast to baking to cooking and I will most definitely keep using Country Crock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original country crock tastes great just like butter, with a slight oil after taste..which as someone who normally uses vegan butter. I didn't notice right away. I'm pretty sure my grandmother used to use this butter. It reminded me instantly of toast at her house!! My kids absolutely loved it :)

I have been using butter for my toast and I have been considering getting something more spredable, so after reciving this product for free for my unbias review, I was happy to get it. It's not as savoury as the butter, but you can't beat the spread. I never really got this before the change, so I'm happy enough with the no preservatives and wouldn't know the difference. I did really enjoy the #makeityourown recipe and had fun making them with my son, the cookies are fluffy and thick and remind me of Christmas.

The original Country Crock is my favorite. It is smooth, creamy, and easy to spread on anything. I will definitely purchase this in the future.

I appreciate the new rectangular shape as space in my fridge is precious real estate! Since buying, I have been using it every morning in my toast and it is so easy to spread! I have no need to let it sit out for a little while just to soften. I've even used it in mac & cheese and a cookie recipe and they tasted great! The taste does differ slighty from the original but it's not too bad at all. I would definitely buy it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country Crock has been a household name for quite some time and it just keeps getting better with time. From baking to everyday cooking it is one of essentials. It gives my food great flavor, veggies, chicken, eggs,etc Country Crock is the base. When baking, it gives my cakes a rich and moist texture. I definitely recommend. No artificial flavors or preservatives and zero grams of trans fat makes it that much better.

I was excited as I have never tried this brand or product before (strong brand loyalty to "I cant believe its not butter"). This butter had much more of a rich buttery taste than most spreads I have tried. It melts quickly on hot items and brings a lovely flavor to many of my dishes. I also enjoyed cooking in a pan with this spread. I try to stay away from processed cooking sprays and only use butter, and this one was a delight. It melted quickly, and did not have a distinct smell like some other butter spreads do when heated. I am excited to use this in the future. 5 stars and a definite reccomend!

I'm not sure why the change in the Country Crock original recipe?? I have had nothing but complaints from my entire family. Even my 8 year old can taste the difference and refuses to eat any of the butter.. Please, Please, Please change back until then I will be forced the purchase another brand until then.
