Country Crock is slightly more expensive but you get what you pay for. The flavor is so much better than that of the store brands I usually buy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received Country Crock from Influenster to try out for free, I was so excited, because holiday baking is one of my favorite things to do this time of the year! First up - Christmas cookies! I just added Country Crock to my go-to recipe and was really happily surprised. The batter consistency was great and rolling out the dough seemed easier. Once the cookies were cut out and cooked, I was excited to try the final product and not disappointed. The taste is great and the cookies seemed lighter this year - really delicious! I'm also using Country Crock for chicken pot pies, homemade waffles and more and each time I use it, I'm reminded how great the final products are and how perfect the container is to keep getting more!

I don't know what everyone else's issue is with the product or packaging. I have zero problems with the packaging and the lid stays on just fine. I can even pick it up by the lid and it stays on (which I have no idea why anyone would want to do that lol). I used to eat country crock as a child about 13-18 years ago and it tastes how I remember it tasting. Maybe a little lighter feeling/tasting, but I prefer that, I love it for toast and as a spread.. I never really cook with it, however. I recommend it as a tasty butter alternative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using County Crock Original spread (butter) for +15 years and I've tried other brands but they don't come close to CC. The taste is great, it has such a creamy texture, spreads with ease, and can be used to cook with or as a spread for a snack. I mainly use it to cook meals with most days 3 times a day. In my opinion it's the whole package because it's not only great but affordable as well. I was super excited to receive a coupon for a tub of CC at no cost because it's the one staple I use everyday.

As I read over everyone else's reviews it's obvious that my family isn't the only one that finds your "new recipe" disgusting. My family and I have ONLY purchased your product for over 30 years and absolutely loved the flavor it added to our dishes. Now, if I add this to anything my children will NOT eat it. My little girl loved baked potatoes and now she won't touch them due to the change in your product. It's sad that for some reason companies feel the need to change a product that has been successful for many years and it ALWAYS changes for the worse never the better. I suggestion if consumers want simpler ingredients then that's fine but don't stop making the more flavorful butter. I suggest you sell both of them. The supplier ones for those who like it and the REAL original for all us who have enjoyed it for 30+ years.

This was the only butter my family used for many years. Recently purchased 2 containers & after throwing away a pan full of monkey bread, 4 grilled cheese sandwiches, and large pan of mashed potatoes due to the nasty taste, the country crock went in the trash as well. The taste is disgusting & the smell when cooking is awful. I despise real butter, so I will try to find a new margarine for my family, because this new recipe is nasty. From the sound of the reviews, you are losing your customers. Hope you change back to the recipe we all loved, but I bet that won't happen until you see the major loss of profit.
