I do not like baking with it. It seems that most of my cupcake, cake or cookie recipes do not fair well when using a spread instead of real butter. I'll still use country crock for every day use but will stick to the sticks in baking!

My family enjoys the delicious taste and the way it smoothly glides on whatever your eatting it on. With those expectations it is pretty good. I will always prefer butter for baking and cooking but this is perfect in a pinch or if your don't like butter. It spreads very nicely.

I have been using Country Crock's Original for years. The taste and smooth, creamy texture are the best. I was so thrilled when I discovered the Country Crock Original New Recipe! It is a much healthier recipe, while maintaining the original taste and texture I have come to love over the years. I heard from someone recently who claims they miss the old recipe's taste.
