[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big toast eater and I hate struggling with normal butter to get it to spread. The country crock spreads so easily on my toast and is great for making my top secret chocolate chip cookies. We really love country crock for our everyday uses!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we purchased this, I used it in place of my real butter. The square container for nicely in my fridge. The texture of the spread was so smooth. My three year old helped spread it in crescent rolls. It was something he could do to participate in supper. I did use it to make the #MakeItYours recipe and I can't say it was "out of this world" cookies. The spread seemed a little too soft to produce a good cookie. Overall, the cookies turned out but not my favorite recipe.

You need to go back to the original, Original Country Crock. The new, simple recipe is just not nice, leaves a terrible taste, it has a smell and I cannot use it in any recipes. Used this product for over 20 years and now I need to switch! Seems to me you are just trying to cut costs and it tastes like it

I do not like the taste of the new country crock I will no longer be buying this product . I have ate country crock for more then 25 years. Hope you will go back to the original country crock or make both. Because the new country crock isn't good at all

My wife and I have been eating shedd's spread for years. We tried the "new simple" version and don't like the taste. We did a taste test with Blue Bonnet to be sure. We both picked Blue Bonnet, our new brand now. Are you guys trying to destroy your market share, or did you just make a BIG mistake?
