[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product for free from Influenster for testing purposes. I used it to try their simple recipe and it struggled a little. My cookies were much too runny so I made muffins instead. Not sure if that's the butter's fault or just my failure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot of butters i have used don't melt quickly and don't spread easily. Country crock original actually melts quickly on toast and spreads easily on bread without tearing the bread which was a huge issue with cheap butter and other name brand butters. It has a good taste and doesn't taste very salty like more cheaper versions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very spreadable , even coming straight out of the refrigerator. This product seems to be vegan, and a lower calorie, less fat alternative to my normal vegan butter choice. I'm not entirely sure if it's non gmo or how natural the ingredients are in comparison so I probably won't switch unless I do a bit more research. My husband , the carnivore liked it just fine, so there's that. I must add that I received this product for free from influenster.

I think it's a great alternative to butter (even though I really prefer the taste of real butter) and it doesn't make me sick like other spreads have in the past. I use it for everything!

From desserts to soups or some yummy garlic bread country crock does its part to add moisture and a comfort to many meals!

I have been using Country crock original for over 30 yrs now and absolutly loved it until now. I recently bought the new recipe in the square tubs and it is so different tasting and nasty! I compared the square tubs to the old circle containers and ingrediants are totally different. I can't stand the taste!!!!! My whole family agrees that the taste is unbearable in our favorite dishes. We will never use country crock again unless they go back to the "original" orignal recipe!!!! Searching now for a new favorite butter! :(
