[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am guilty of getting in ruts. I constantly pick up the same products and don't look at competitors or new products. My choice for a soft butter spread has been the same for over 20 years. I was provided this sample of Country Crock to try. This is my new favorite and I will be changing my purchase from now on. This has a buttery taste. I believe it is more flavorful than my previous choice. I used this Country Crock on my baked potatoes and was so impressed with the flavor it added to the potato. I think that I was able to use less salt because the Country Crock added more flavor.

My wife and I have used original recipe for 20+ years and this has got to be the worst change of all. This isn't like changing a salt or soda. This changes literally everything we eat! Now since the spreads have all changed we are forced to find an alternative. Even something as simple as morning toast has a nasty aftertaste. Not to even mention trying to use it in recipe's or cook dinner with. Bad move Unilever. If it's not broke, don't fix it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country Crock Original has a great taste. I love how spreadable and soft it is right out of the fridge. Very simple ingredients and I love using it on toast and pancakes. Spreads easily and is great for using in recipes like cookies.

Country Crock tastes better than any other butter/spread I have ever tasted. I use Country Crock when baking, cooking dinner, or even when having bread and butter as a snack. I won't buy anything else!

Gross! I actually grew up with this stuff, so I never knew what real butter was supposed to taste like until I tried it. Have Not touched Country Crock since! There are other butter alternatives that taste closer to butter and affordable price vs. country crock.

The grilled cheese was a hit with the kids. The cookies were soft and chewy. I have a great alternative to butter!

The consistency is very smooth and creamy which was perfect for cookie baking. I loved following the make it your own recipe they have and making my own cookies for thanksgiving. My family actually asked what I did differently with my cookies this year. Would definitely recommend country crock to friends and family.
