Have used nothing but Country Crock for more years than I can count. Bought some last week, in a new square bowl, thought it was the same as usual, I made toast for my grandson and he spit it out and said it was ruined. I tasted the toast and also spit it out, that's when I noticed it said new simple recipe. I will never purchase it again, it is horrible, completely ruins the taste of any food it is used in!!!!

It has a good taste and makes a great addition to many everyday baking/cooking recipes. I do prefer to use real butter, but I also like to use this as a substitute! I was a bit hesitant to try Country Crock because I had been so used to using my normal spread. However, after I tried it on my morning bagel I was SOLD! The flavor is so rich and creamy, it enhances the flavor of whatever I use it on. Since I have received Country Crock original, I have used it daily. I have even had to buy more at the store! Great for toast, baking, or any type of cooking. It's soft & delicious! Truth be told, Growing up I may or may not used to sneak and dip my finger in the container to eat some! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a fan of butter spreads, they are easier to work with. The Country Crock spread tastes great and reminds me of my youth. We used for baking and on toast, it was my favorite on banana bread!

This butter is easy to spread and tastes pretty good! My main issue with butter is it not being spreadable when I need it to be, this country crock is impressive in it's tasting good and always being the softness I desire. Well done, I will be looking into buying this again!

It goes on smooth and didnt rip or tear my bread. I used it to make grilled cheese and it grilled up crisp and golden brown. i qould recommend and buy again.
