Really unhappy

Terrible new product

After using well over a hundred pounds of the old recepe over the years I'm in the market for a new brand of butter. Your new recepe is unacceptable for taste or cooking. Why mess up a perfectly good product. I've also noticed there is plenty of your new product left at the grocery store shelves. Wonder why?

Not that great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sorry. But this spread just wasn't that great. It does do everything you need for cooking and all but the taste to me and my family was nowhere near butter. It was oily as a matter of fact. Pretty sure I won't buy again. ** I recieved a free sample for the purpose of writing a review **

Garbage in a Crock

New "original" (huh?) Country Crock is awful. "fresh country taste"? what do you consider "fresh country taste"? It's list of ingredients start with WATER. Main ingredient WATER. Sour, rancid, disgusting! Did you use humans for your test panels? Better get their taste buds checked. I'll spend my money on something that tastes good.

I love Country Crock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country Crock is the only buttery spread I'll use. It reminds me of my grandma as she would always have it when we'd come for a visit. I love it on bread and toast especially! Great flavor and smooth and easy to spread. I received the product for sampling purposes, but all opinions are my own.

Great Butter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for an unbiased review of it. Honestly, I believe that this product is really great! It has a great, smooth texture and tastes great in all of the things I have used it for from cooking with it to spreading it on toast. Finally a versatile butter that is not hard to spread and works well with everything!

Horrible Taste

I love the new shape but, I hate the taste. What did you do to it??? Why, oh, why did you have to change the recipe...if I cannot find the round tub with the "original" taste, I will have to find something else to use. Please change your minds and "drop" the new recipe and go back to the original taste instead.

You Can Bake With It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country Crock original spread has a pretty good flavor, but what impressed me the most was that you can bake with Country Crock. The company even has a cookie recipe online that uses their spread. If you use Country Crock to bake with, you don't have to wait for the spread to soften or even bother with a mixer - it's easy to mix up by hand. The cookies turn out soft and cake-like. Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Not too impressed

Before I begin, I want to mention I received free product for my unbiased review. Pros: economical: Unlike butter, you can pay the same amount for butter and get way more country crock. great taste: it's smooth, easier to work with than butter, and tastes nice and light. Cons: too many ingredients: I like butter because it's only a few ingredients. Type of ingredients: I am not a fan of putting palm oil in anything, so for this reason alone, I will not get country crock again.

Great spread and love it for baking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free through Influenster. Truthfully, I haven't used this in awhile. My son and I baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies with them and they turned out wonderfully! Fluffy, soft, and rich!! We have been also using Country Crock to spread on our toast each morning. It spreads much easier than using sticks of butter, so the kids can do it themselves! I'm a fan!
