[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try this product for free. I have used country crock in the past and it always seems the same.. Pretty tasty, but i can still tell that it is margarine, not butter. In fact, Country Crock tastes the most like margarine of all the brands ive tried. But the price is right, and i don't really mind the taste of margarine. And this brand is definitely the creamiest!

The new recipe is horrible! It literally leaves a bad taste in your mouth. It tastes like chemicals. My husband and I don't like it, our kids won't eat it, and everyone at our extended family dinner wanted to know what was wrong with the potatoes. I guess after growing up on Country Crock, and raising my kids on it, we'll be moving on. I guess all good things do come to an end.

When I received a coupon to be able to try out Country Crock Original butter for free I was super excited because I knew it was a product that I already loved and knew it would get used. I finally ran out of butter and was able to use the coupon to get the complimentary Country Crock Original butter and thus far I have used it when making sandwiches for lunch as well as in a recipe for twice baked potatoes! I grew up using this butter all 48 years of life and I loved the flavor. However, a few years ago I noticed that something really changed in it's flavor and now I no longer like it. Whatever it was they changed they need to change it back to it's original flavor.
