[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up eating Country Crock, but stopped when I started to buy my own groceries because I preferred butter to margarine. When I received an opportunity to try Country Crock's new simple recipe (which I appreciate, as I consider myself somewhat of a heath nut!) I was interested to see what I would think years later. To experience the favor as simply as possible, I gave it a go with some toast! Honestly, I've grown accustomed to the flavor of butter as it has more of a salty, savory flavor than the Country Crock (personal opinion), but the Country Crock is definitely flavorful and spreads very easily. If you're needing to make modifications to your diet for any reason, Country Crock is an excellent alternative to butter! And I can see that it would also be preferable for some, given that it has more of a neutral flavor and wouldn't require softening -- which I can see would be great for baking. I plan to use it more for cooking dishes for which I usually find myself using vegetable or canola oils, since it will boost flavor and lessen the amount of fats!

I also used it to make scrambled eggs and omelets and it tasted so pure and wholesome; not artificial at all. I will continue to use Country Crock for all my cooking needs. Thank you.

This is a fantastic butter spread. I have always kept Country Crock in my house. It tastes fantastic, and it works well for anything I use it for! I would recommend it to anyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been years since I have tried Country Crock Original spread, and I was really pleasantly surprised! It was so smooth and creamy and was so much easier to spread butter on bread. I also like the option of just being able to pull it immediately out of the refrigerator and spread it easily on items, without having to let it soften first. Taste wise, it is good. On tasting like butter I would rate an 8/10. It is very creamy and tasted very good on everything I have put it on so far. I would recommend this product!

My kids easily spread it on bread/ toast, and I can easily measure it for recipes. Out of all the spreads out there, this one tastes the most like real butter. I started using this product again and it is still as good as it was back when I was little. It has a nice buttery taste and a smooth texture. Perfect to add to dinner rolls or for using in cooking. It is easy to use and spread.
