[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used country crock prior to getting a free sample in exchange for my honest review. I used it in a chicken recipe and loved it. Next I tried it in a butter cookie recipe. It tastes just like the expensive stuff that the recipe called for burr at a much better price. I can't wait to try the flavored spreads and sticks now too.

I have been buying Country Crock for many years and then Country Crock Original but I may have to change what I buy. If you change the recipe then it is NOT the original and you can't call it "Country Crock Original". I do not like the taste of the new recipe and it no longer stores at room temp without loosing its consistancy. If the Glutten Free crowd needs a different butter make a glutten free butter and don't mess with what is supposed to be the "Original" formula.

I'm not a huge butter person, but when I do splurge I'm very satisfied with the taste and texture of this spread. It melts great for grilled cheese and adds tons of yummy flavor. I have yet to bake with it but I will be making muffins soon for a quick grab and go snack!

I had to go vegan for health reasons for a while a few years ago. Country Crock was recommended to me, and even though I can have real butter now, I always make sure to have Country Crock on hand! Creamy, smooth, and tasty! It's not exactly like butter, it's better!

I have eaten Country Crock for YEARS. I enjoyed it because it did not taste like butter. I was SO DISAPPOINTED to learn I could NOT get my hands on the REAL original formula. Like others, unless you bring back the ORIGINAL, I will quit eating the stuff.

I have used Country Crock for many years and nothing else. I picked up a new container thinking that I was getting the original that I normally buy but that it was just in a different container. I was surprised to taste that it was different. My family did not like the taste. I went back to the store to see if I could find what I normally buy, but I found out that they are not going to have this anymore. I am so disappointed! Now I will have to try to find a new spread that my whole family will like. So sad to see you changed the formula. Please reconsider still producing the original.

Upon receiving a sample to try of this new product, my view has changed. I really enjoyed the taste change. The taste is better and creamier, and I notice a lot less salt taste. I really enjoyed this on toast and bagels in the morning. I am very pleased and am honestly thinking about switching back to Country Crock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our go to spread. My husband loves Country Crock. He won't ever use regular butter anymore. He loves the flavor and how easy it spreads on bread and crackers and how great it melts for cooking eggs and even steak

Have been using Country Crock Original for many years. Now you have come out with a new recipe. Why fix it when it ain't broke? While not bad using it in cooking, it is horrible by itself. This is the opinion of all eight people in this household. Please make a big announcement if you return to the old original recipe. MAYBE I'll try it again if you do.
