I switched to butter because it was "supposed" to taste better, but I didn't even make it through one stick before I switched back to Country Crock! I will never switch again. The taste and consistency are fantastic, it's easy to use, and you get a reusable container when the product is gone.

We also use it in all of our recipes that call for butter. I was raised on it and I have raised my daughter on it too.

This was great because it's a product that's already in my life that I've relied on for years. I hate when butter is rock hard, because it is so difficult to spread on toast, even when the toast is warm. Country Crock is great because it spreads so effortlessly and has a great, authentic taste. I've eaten Country Crock for 35 years - I make my famous mashed potatoes with it. I made them last week for a big family get together and everyone ask what I did different, they didn’t taste right. It was the new recipe country crock. It tastes bad, looks like I will be look for a new spread. The new simple recipe tastes real real bad.

I loved the round tubs of the original Country Crock and the flavor it had. This new square tub I don't like and the flavor is so different and changes the flavor of whatever you put it in for the worse. I always bought the biggest tub of original crock butter at least 1 a month and sometime 2 tubs a month. I want the tubs back with that flavor that enhanced the flavor in everything you put it in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this butter to prepare some oven baked lemon butter tilapia, this butter did a great job at preventing the fish from drying up. It helped the fish turnout soft and flakey. I am glad I received this butter, and I will definitely be replacing my usual brand for this one.
