Country Crock is a product we enjoy in this household, its so much easier to use then other margarines and butters, if you leave those out on the counter and its cold, they are hard to spread. Not Country Crock, its always the right temperature to spread.

But the whole time I couldn't help but feel a little guilty. I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased review, so I decided to give it a try. I LOVE how much more spreadable it is than the real butter I'm used to. I also used this to make a cake, and I am not exaggerating when I say it turned out to be the most beautiful cake I've ever made. It turned out perfectly - Very moist and looked great. Came out of the pan perfectly. The trouble was where I used it for the frosting. It started to separate a little bit, leaving the frosting with a more "icing-like" texture. But the frosting still tasted great. I will certainly be using this product for cooking and for general use in the future.

But I wanted to give it a shot! I used it to cook my quinoa instead of olive oil or butter, like I normally do. It tasted just as great as always! I enjoyed this, but it didn't stand out too much. Perhaps not enough to purchase it again. However, if you have dietary restrictions that prevent you from using butter or the like, this seems like a good alternative!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free in exchange for my review. While some recipes I use only real buyer but for most country crock is my go to. One of mine and my children's favorite recipes (warming this is not very healthy ) for a quick meal is to boil a box of elbow macaroni, drain, then add a few large spoons of country crock and mix, keep adding until the noodles are really buttery and smells similar to butter popcorn, then add campbells tomato juice, salt and pepper then serve with parmasean cheese on top. Quick easy and good. Add meat to the side or eat alone. My recipes don't taste right when I don't use country crock or real butter depending on the recipe.

We actually used to use this spread all the time many years ago I remember being small and it was always a staple at all of our family's homes it melted well and went with so many different dishes from potatoes to toast. We don't really purchase we have switched to a different but we still buy their cinnamon butter for our toast and it is delicious!

It's the perfect butter. SO smooth, I got the orignal flavor and it was so good! I like it the best on my toast straight out of the toaster and it just melts right on it. Yummy!

I normally don't see much difference in taste, but a major difference price. Country Crock is the exception to this rule. There is no substitute for this spread. It's so rich, creamy and tasteful.
