[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Tried it and can't say Im buying it on my own dime. I'm a die hard butter fan but was excited to try this as a healthier option. It is easier to spread and nice and creamy BUT it did not taste like butter to me. It tasted bland, I think Im missing the salt. Also tried using it to bake some cranberry oatmeal cookies and it changed the texture. I cant find the right word to decribe it right now but my cookie recipe would make it nice and chewy but after using Country Crock it just wasn't. It tasted the same though but I really missed the chewiness I was after. Another reason why I was not won over, is that this product uses Palm Oil. I can't find if this was sourced responsibly so in good conscience cannot support a product that is hastening the destruction of palm trees and its inhabitants.

I like that I can also use it to make desserts and it's so easy to scoop out for that purpose! I recieved this product for free but the reviews are all my own.

It doesn't have much of a taste, although it does the job. I was a little surprised to see that it doesn't really melt well even when microwaved. It also left a strange film on my dishes. I love this margarine! I've been using this spread for a while and it tastes rich and flavorful. A great and versatile spread. A spread that can be used on to cook anything in a pan, on muffins, sandwiches, toast etc. Has to be my absolute favorite butter substitute.

I received this item for free to try and let me tell you I will be purchasing this in the future! The flavor was good, I love that it's easier to scoop and spread than the sticks of butter! Also, when baking, you can use measuring spoons to scoop out how much you need!

I want to express my dissatisfaction over the "Simpler Recipe". I remember over 25 years ago my family starting buying a new butter. It was all of the rage. No one questioned the flavor... they just started buying Country Crock. This is like "new Coke" all over again. I will be switching back to my butter 25-years prior. If it is not broken and the formula worked? why fix it? Too bad I cannot return the "Simpler Recipe" after using it.

Bought the new tub and thought it had read same old recipe but I was mistaken till got home and it read new simple recipe. It is terrible!! We have bought country crock since I was a kid and I am 37 yrs old and my husband has had the same butter as well. It tastes terrible and now going to have to switch to another brand cause we can't eat it! Please switch back!!!

If I do not make homemade butter, this is what I grab for, especially when a recipe calls for a larger amount. The taste is great and I always know what I'm going to get when I use it.

It has such a creamy smooth texture that makes it easy to spread and the taste is just as perfectly smooth. My favorite way to eat Contry Crock is on banana bread, but I would seriously eat it on anything. It has become a staple in our house and all of the old brands have been traded out!
