I used to put country crock on everything. I loved it more than regular butter. This new original formula is the absolute worst! It makes it seem like the butter is sour. I wish they didn't mess with the original flavor and in turn created a new flavor for this horrible excuse for butter. I'm so heartbroken, I can never have the delicious taste of the REAL original country crock ever again. Won't be buying this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved Country Crock for a long time. It continues to be one of my favorite butter spreads because it tastes great and is ready to spread straight from the refrigerator. I've been buying it since college and have enjoyed every single bite.

I was sent the original spread for free for my unbiased review. I've used Country Crock for as long as I can remember because I absolutely love the flavor. The hint of salt makes peanut butter sandwiches a tastier treat, baked potatoes more flavorful, and rice even more delicious. I've tried other brands, but the flavor just wasn't there for me.

I've always bought country crock, then bought the new simple recipe, did anybody taste this, lousy, I will have to give it a 1 star because I won't be able to give it a zero, why ruin a good product. The taste is NOT original. If you decide to put a little in a skillet to cook eggs it smells bad melting, what a waste of a good thing, I won't be buying this again!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always kept Country Crock Original in my refrigerator for grilled cheese sandwiches. It spreads so much easier than butter and it always makes my sandwiches taste great. Now that Country Crock brought out their Make It Yours Cookie Challenge, I tried baking with it for the first time. The cookies barely made it into the oven because I couldn't stop myself from eating the dough - it was so delicious! Now Country Crock stays in my fridge as a standard ingredient. Who knows what I might try now?

I want to share that we have been faithful Country Crock consumers for many, many years. We are not fans of the New Simple Recipe formula. Yes, it has very simple ingredients listed butt he taste has changed and is not as good as the original. I think we may have to find a different butter. The simple recipe does not taste very good melted on our popcorn, toast, corn on the cob, etc. It almost ranks up there with the off brands.

I loved the old Country Crock! I ate it one almost everything! I loved the old butter and now I hate it. I have. Found no butter I like. But I'll never eat it again. My family has quit buying it after 21 years of use! It has ruined my toast, waffles, pancakes, rice, mashed potatoes and anything else you put butter on. If you want people to have a healthy option, make a healthy Country Crock and leave the old one the same! If I want to clog my arteries let me at least have a choice. I'll go clog my arteries with some other butter now. Not that mess you guys made. I would buy the family size and it only lasted a week in my house hold of 3. Not anymore though. If I could no star I would.
