I received a tub of country crock original to try with my family from Influenster. It is fabulous! I used it to spread on Texas toast to griddle into amazing grilled cheese with American and Swiss slices and I'll say that griddled buttery taste was to die for! Will definitely keep this butter around I had no idea it tasted so good!

I love cooking with butter and olive oil, so I thought it would be good to try to cut some calories with Country Crock Light. I've used it to sauté brusselsprouts with garlic, on rice and to pan grill steak! So far, I am really pleased with the flavor and the melting consistency of this spread. I'm excited to do some baking with it next!

I was very happy to see the changes that were made to simplify and make their products a good fit for my own family now. Their recipe does not contains artificial preservatives or flavors. I use it entirely in place of any other butter product. I bake with it, cook with it in all of my recipes, and use it as a delicious buttery topping. The tubs are reusable too. I am very satisfied with the performance and flavor of this spread.

I've been loyal to them since a kid, dipping my finger in the tub. It's creamy, and not salty, and works great for cookies!

Who ever your panel of taste testers are should be fired! This new recipe tastes absolutely terrible. I have been using your product forever and have been thrilled with the taste, but everything I cook and add this butter tastes horrific!! Please change back to your original formula or I am gone forever!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this new & delicious spread this past week and have loved how it melts without leaving a puddle of water in the pan when it melts. I have also used it on toast and a baked potato. It's not "gummy" like some spreads are, melts evenly and has a delicious buttery flavor. Very good. Early this week I used it to make cookies and it combined very nicely into the dough which I really liked. I was thinking how I'd love to see stick butter from this exact butter for baking. It would make it much easier for counting out tablespoons. Other than that I can't think how it could be changed. It's very good! For 20 years I've used Country Crock exclusively. One my favorite things to do while cooking is to have a slice of bread and butter. After returning from the store while I was cooking dinner I had a slice a fresh Italian bread and New Country Crock it tastes putrid and because it was the only margarine in the house I used it in the mashed potatoes I was making. In summary it tastes horrible alone on bread or ruins anything you use it in. For now on or until the recipe gets changed back I'll be using the store brand vegetable spread.
