I have been faithfully using Country Crock for 20+ years. I purchased the "new recipe" yesterday. It tastes really bad. Whether cooking with it or using it as a spread. A new healthy option is great for those who want it. But you really should bring back the ORIGINAL recipe. Until then, I have to find a new butter..thanks

Since we have adapted a healthy lifestyle we use butter in moderation but this is still the butter of our choice! I'm so glad that they have this new packaging. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the wonderful buttery taste of country crock. I used it in pie crusts, cookies, and in every thing I would have used butter in. The pie crust was flaky just like it is with butter. The cookies were so good no one knew I hadn't used butter. No one knew I had replaced the butter in all the recipes, however I had the knowledge that they were eating something a little healthier since I had chosen Country Crock plus calcium and it had less calories for me. I am now in love with Country Crock, and will not be going back to butter as long as Country Crock is available

I have been buying Country Crock brand butter for over 20 years. recently bout you new revised recipe. DID NOT Like it at all. Taste too much oil. Can not find the original brown tub anywhere. I am forced to use another brand. Wish you would make both kinds.

I've been a loyal customer of 20 plus years and have always loved this product until recently. I do not know what has happened to the original recipe, but this new one has an extremely horrible taste. I just threw a brand tub of it away. It's said that they changed something that was good and that had been around for many years. Oh well I guess I will have to switch to another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the real butter rich taste on my popcorn. I use half the salt with it. It is super quick to melt as it is easily spreadable. My son loves it in his cornbread. It is also gluten free! I recieved this last tub free from influinster, however buy it all the time.

Made mac and cheese and it obviously calls for milk and butter. I took my first bite and was like EWH...I though maybe my milk was bad so I ignored it. Then I spread some on some toast and had the same reaction..new doesn't always mean better country crock. Don't mess with a good thing !

The creaminess here is fine, but I just prefer Blue Bonnet more. What can I say? I just love the country flavor when you smear it on fresh-out-oven cornbread (muffins or crack'n or hot water cornbread or Mexican style, NO discrimination here.) Then you put it in some bland vegetables with seasonings? You know what I'm talking about.

We have been country crock lovers for years, but this new simple recipe in the New container mark Original must be simple because it taste terrible. First I thought it was me then my wife said the same thing just after using it once or twice. I used to put it on everything and loved cooking with it but not anymore. what a let down.
