[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently received a free sample of Country Crock. Not only did it come still cold, but tasted fresh and amazing on my toast. It is not too oily what so ever and has a wonderful consistency. It is the only butter that I buy and love how it is always smooth and goes on bread easy weather it is warm or chilled.

I liked this butter more for cooking than as a spread because it's very fatty. I wouldn't eat this on toast or anything of that sort because I already use a lighter butter that I like better. I received compensation/free product for my unbiased review.

Even though it tasted good and seems to be a good product I do not like some of the ingredients and chemicals in this product. I'm very health concious and this is not a product I would normally buy.

few days age we bought a tub of the Country Crock Original that was there NEW RECIPE. Opened the container and spread it on some french bread. At first I thought maybe my taste buds had gone hay-wire. To make this a short story I compaired the new container with one I still had and saw the NEW RECIPE Original had made few changes with the ingredients which to me was a bad idea because this Original NEW RECIPE taste is TERRIBLE.

I do not usually use butter substitutes for my baking or cooking, but I decided to give it a shot because I got the coupon to use this item for free. I would say that I am an amateur baker/cook. I know my way around the kitchen and definitely cook/bake everyday. I first began to use the spread in my cooking for a week and have to say that it gave the same great, creamy and buttery taste that my regular butter would have--except with less calories. It was quite delicious when I used it to be make garlic bread. The real test was for me, how it would make my homemade chocolate chip cookies taste. My cookies came out absolutely perfect, buttery and soft. I will definitely purchase agani.

Growing up I hated butter and never cared for the taste of it. Into my adulthood I started to use butter slightly more often, but only if it was melted into my toast, etc. This brand of butter is my favorite tho! I love the smooth creamy taste of it.
