[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a die hard Country Crock fan for many years and was super excited when I saw the new "space saver tub" in stores. However I had just recently purchased a new tub so it was a while before I got to buy the new one. I honestly wish I would have known to savor a little bit more what I had, but as the song says, you don't know what you've got til it's gone. I previously used Country Crock spread in baking because its oil content was sufficient. This is no longer the case. And truly for the very minimal price difference now, I will just be using good old butter from here on out. If I have no other option, I will probably use it again. I was provided this sample in exchange of my unbiased review.

This is the most awful tasting stuff! I have use country crock for at least 30 years! Or more! I thought my grandson just didn't want to eat his mac and cheese when he told me it tasted awful. Then I had baked potatoes and my husband and daughter said what it wrong with this butter! Then I tasted it AWFUL!!!!!! BRING THE FIRST ORIGINAL BACK PLEASE!!!!!

I would highly recommend this. I was sent this from Influenster but that does not affect my opinion of this great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Country Crock now for 17 years. It is really the only butter/margarine we buy in our household. I like Country Crock because it spreads great, even when it comes right out of the fridge. I use it for all of my cooking needs, even when baking. I tried using butter for my Christmas sugar cookies this last year and it turned out terrible. It turned into a solid block that I couldn't do anything with. I had to go back and make another batch with my Country Crock. Whew. You do not want to mess up Christmas cookies. I do have to say that I like the original recipe versus the new recipe. I know that I'm used to the "horrible ingredients" that Country Crock has now taken out, but it was my butter! I'm sure I will get used to this new formula/recipe, but it is still my favorite butter and I will continue to use it.

First I received the product in the mail and even though it was over ice the butter had completely melted which made me sad. However it was still cold so I put it in the fridge to harden. Now I have to say I have purchased Country Crock before and knew that I liked it. However this one I liked a little more. It was creamer and the box was compact and fit so nicely in my fridge. I made sugar cookies with it and they turned out PERFECT! Plus was perfect for breakfast on my toast and helping my fry my eggs. Will purchase again. However only downside its not actual butter but a vegetable spread.

I received this product for review, but the opinion is my own. My family has used this brand for years, even before I can remember. I love the buttery taste and how easy it is to spread on toast or warm bread, scoop and add to my recipes, and the taste it gives when used for cooking. This will remain a regular in my home.
