Just like my Yia Yia loved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mom's mom loved this butter, and when I moved to Florida I couldn't find it anywhere which made me so sad. Now that it's back in my life, I couldn't be more ecstatic! I don't ever use stick butter - just this spread! It's so good, and makes everything taste great! I use it for baking cookies, making pasta - everything!

Great taste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a voucher to receive a free tub of country crock but options are my own! Tastes like real butter but it's much easier to spread on things such as toast, the spreadable country crock is especially helpful in baking and making products you would need to typically wait for the butter to soften.

I have used this brand since i can remember.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this brand since i can remember. I remember being a child an my grandma cooking with this brand. Its the only brand i know to buy because i have grown up with it in my house all my life. But i did not buy this. I got it to review. And i took sum stars of because it came in a package and i had to throw it away because he was busted open an unusable. Thank u tho. I will continue to always use this brand. I hate that i had to throw a quite big sampl away tho but that wont stop me from buying it in the future.

Good...if you like dill pickles in your biscuits.

This new "simple recipe" may be better for us, but it certainly is NOT better tasting. It is the most foul margarine I've ever had the displeasure of eating. I'm allergic to milk, so butter isn't an option. I've been eating the original kind for 28 years, and though wary when I bought the "new recipe" last week, I put it on hot fresh biscuits. I bit into one and it tasted like a pickle. I thought it was odd, so I checked the new ingredients and saw that vinegar was an addition from the old kind. The next day I started melting some to sauté some veggies, and my entire kitchen smelled like fried pickles. Vinegar?! WHY???

Coke tried this...remember "New Coke?"...

I type this with a heavy heart. The disappointment along with the suffering my taste buds have endured from the new recipe cannot be put into words. Please create a classic version of country crock and you can continue to sell this new version, like in the 80s with new Coke and Coke classic. I have also struggled to explain to my children how the container says original yet it is a new recipe...please let me know what I should tell them because I am at a loss for words. True leaders not only hear the people they also take action. if you lead we will follow. I will continue to spread the word about this change because there has to be a butter way.

We’re so disappointed to hear that our new recipe fails to meet your expectations. At this time, there are no plans to go back to the original recipes. We will continue to listen to our consumers and gather feedback.

Must have for toast eaters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from Influenster to review. This is a product that I already buy and it's a must have item for those that like to eat toast in the mornings because it doesn't shred your bread like butter. I also like that it melts easily into vegetable dishes too.

Loved the previous recipe

I used to be a huge fan of Country Crock, but I no longer like the new recipe. It does not melt right, and the flavor is off. Bring back the old version. We will all be happier for it. I received (or will receive) compensation/free product for my unbiased review.

It's not butter..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's definitely not butter, so it's totally different. I've always bought butter, but I got this as a free sample from influenster & went on the website for a free recipe.. it wasn't terrible but not a product ID buy.

Best butter and only

Best butter and only butter that we purchase, love adding this butter to my baked potatoes because it gives them the best flavor. I would definitely recommend that everybody try this butter, it's the perfect amount of salt in butter, not too much and not too little.

Delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did receive this item free, but this review is my own. When I married my husband I only used butter. But my husband insisted on having Country Crock in our fridge. Now we both absolutely love it. The taste is amazing, and we use it for almost everything except baking.
