[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased with the Country Crock Original spread, being that it had no artificial preservatives, trans fat, cholesterol, or partially hydrogenated oils. I see that they have taken into consideration the need for more real ingredients. I have used this product on my morning gluten-free toast and also on some fresh banana bread that I baked. The taste was buttery, even though it is actually made with oils, salt, and vinegar. I actually understand all of the ingredients on the back of the container which is also a huge plus. The spread is smooth, making it easy to use 'for spreading', and it keeps its consistency in the refrigerator. I did use it to cook some pancakes in the frying pan and I didn't like the taste of the spread thereafter. I believe this product is best for melting over very low heated foods like toast, veggies, mashed potatoes, topping pancakes, etc, OR in baking recipes. I believe the extensive heat from the frying pan breaks down the spread, which changes its flavor. Overall, I did like the spread and was happy with the improvements that they have made to the ingredients, being real.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not exactly a margarine connoisseur, by any means, but I did find Country Crock original to be a good solution for me. I use it in anything from toast in the morning, to the macaroni and cheese at dinner. It tastes good and doesn't have that oily fake texture some margarine can have. The new space saver tub is VERY handy, I will say. I have fibromyalgia and have a small dorm fridge close to my bedroom for quick foods for when I'm flaring. I like that this new tub is compact and fits under the small freezer section of my fridge. It even fits on the small shelf on the door that I never know what to use it for! All in all, the new tub is a win. My only complaint is the use of palm oils. I try to avoid purchasing products containing palm oil as much as possible. They aren't very humanely obtained and aren't environmentally friendly. I only use Country Crock when others offer it to me in their homes, or I've received it as a gift, usually from a well meaning relative purchasing groceries for me.

The spread is so soft and easy measure.The tub shape makes it super easy to fit better in the refrigerator and that is a huge plus also. I would buy this again!

It is super creamy with a delicious taste and can be used in place of butter for any recipe or meal. I love that it has simple ingredients and my entire family loves it. The space saving tub is also a bonus!

Taste is not good. Does not spread like the old recipe. I have gone through two tubs and nobody in my family can not stand the taste. So I am leaving what use to be a good product and trying other products till I can find something that my family likes. Since the change in the recipe of this product it has changed the taste of everything we use it in and not for the better. I have gotten complaints on my cooking because of how the food item would taste, would be asked what had I changed and please to go back to the old recipe. The only thing I had changed was using your new product instead of the old product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This made cookie making so easy for me. Soft and creamy! The cookies came out very soft and the texture I was hoping for. I am very glad I received an opportunity to try this for free, because I am now a country crock customer for life.

I believe that this spread is very delicious and I always have a container of the Country Crock Original Spread in our refrigerator! Very easy to spread this butter as it is never too hard or thick. I love how much product you get for the price you pay. Highly recommend!

Out of curiousity I did a google search to see if Country Crock had changed their butter recipe, and well.... found out that they had, and there are tons of people just as unhappy with the changes as I am. New CC is god-awful- chemically, flavor is unpleasantly strong and really feels synthetic and oily. Comparable to using the liquid artificial butter flavoring you get on your popcorn at the movies. Will switch to a different brand when this last container runs out. The new container is nice, but what's inside it is definitely not.

My mom didn't know the difference when I served her toast with Country Crock over toast with butter! When I told her, she was mad, until she decided that it may actually have been tastier! This was delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country Crock is definitely my go-to for toast. Every morning I spread it on bread, then put it in the toaster oven, once perfectly toasty, I put some brown sugar and cinnamon and it's a perfect pick me up for breakfast!
