I've used this for 20 years. Now it's time to find another brand. This new taste is awful. At first I thought my taste was off. But everyone in my home says the same thing. We have thrown out food we cooked with this spread. I keep trying it hoping it will get better, but it doesn't. Sorry Country Crock, this new taste doesn't work.

I love the buttery taste, not oily mess, the high quality ingredients I can actually read and the fact that there are no preservatives! The new shape of the container is quite appealing and easy to store in the fridge as well. I grew up using Country Crock and I will continue to use it for my family.

That brown tub was just always there! I have my own kids and my own household now. Like my mom, I have always bought Country Crock as well. Sure, I have tried others. But I am never as happy with them. So we are definitely a Country Crock family for life here! I mostly use it for cooking, but definitely use it for flavoring too on things like pasta or biscuits. I love how easy it is to spread and the flavor is perfect.

What the heck did Country Crock do to their recipe? It tastes nasty! I used it while cooking breakfast food and we ended up throwing it away and going out to eat instead. Country Crock just lost a customer unless they go back to the great tasting spread they use to make.

It is also easy to scoop and the perfect consistency for incorporating into baked goods like cookies or pies without having to wait to soften. I also like using it to make mac and cheese. It adds a nice flavor to everything I have used the Country Crock spread in whether it is scrambling some eggs, buttering some toast/biscuits/pancakes, making a birthday cake and cookies, and my weekly mac and cheese! I love the simplified ingredients! Same great flavor I grew up with with simplier ingredients! I received free product in exchange for my review.

I'm happy to report it has the same creamy texture and rich flavor that I remember from my childhood and it's still gloriously spreadable, even straight from the fridge. The resealable tub is a nice perk, keeping the butter fresh and safe from the rest of my fridge contents. Taste-wise, this is very similar to real butter, but it's better for you.
