I don't see my family going back to butter any time soon since Country Crock is available. I can't wait to try the other varieties!

I have a large family and I need to have plenty. Some of my dishes require that I use butter or we use it as a spread for bread or vegetables.

Me and my family have been using Country Crock as long as I can remember. My wife came home with the new rectangular containers because it would save space and it was the "original" flavor. Imagine our surprise when it didn't taste anything like the original flavor. In fact, it doesn't taste like anything we would want to eat at all. We even tried hiding it in baked goods and in other cooking because we couldn't stomach the taste of it on bread, but we can still taste it. And it is a BAD taste.

It's perfect for corn and buttered noodles (a child favorite). I would buy again. Next up, I'll attempt some cookie baking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Country Crock original spread this morning with a bagel that I had. The butter looks good, very similar to any butter that I've gotten before. But when I dug the knife into the container to scoop out some butter, I was surprised at how easily it came out of the tub. The butter is very soft to the touch and spread onto the bagel very effortlessly. No need to wait for it to melt, even though the tub of butter was placed very deeply into my refrigerator! The taste was good too, it was not overpowering at all and made my bagel very nice and soft.
