[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I normally eat only pure butter and do not eat any other spreads that resemble butter. This was a first for us, and I must admit, after reading the composition and tasting it on various food items, we are definitely sold on Country Crock Original. Not only does it look like butter, it is difficult to tell them apart in taste.

First let me say save your money don't bother purchasing! This "NEW RECIPE" is terrible!!! My family has been using Country Crock for over 30 years & never had a complaint now that they have changed the recipe my whole family is looking to find a better tasting butter. My kids even noticed the change in taste in their Mac and cheese and wouldn't even eat it. This change will be the end to Country Crock I see them losing a lot of customers as you can see in the previous reviews not one person has anything good to say about this butter and there is a reason for it! Hopefully they get smart soon and change it back to the old recipe!!!

The biggest reason (IMHO) is because it's easier to spread on a slice of bread or roll. I personally don't like the flavor, it leaves a very oily film in my mouth and on my tongue. I'd rather have real sweet cream butter but I do and will use this if it's the only butter available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stuff. Honestly I'll go to the kitchen for some plain bread and just spread some on there! Perfect carb snack. It's also fantastically easy to cook with. It's so soft that you don't even need to use a mixer or melt it. I made delicious coffee-flavored cookies and they turned out great. Everyone loves them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I reviewed Country Crock Original Spread for my honest review from Influenster. I absolutely love the taste and texture of this spread. I at first thought that it would be hard to get it out of the container and I would have to let it sit out for a couple of minutes or warm it up in the microwave before use to get it to spread well, but surprisingly neither of these had to happen. I loved the way that it didn't clump when trying to spread it on bread, or the way that it melted nicely. I have a child who is very picky and knows when I am trying to use something that is not part of our "normal" grocery pickings. He actually said that he liked the taste of the Country Crock better than what we have used in the past. I will most definitely buy this again!

It has a wonderful, full flavor butter taste and is extremely easy to spread and scoop. The tubs are sturdy and are great for storing in the refrigerator. Not too bulky or odd shaped!

Thanks to Influenster, I got to try Country Crock's already softened buttery sticks for free! I chose to make some cookie bars, which was a snap, because I simply pulled a buttery stick straight out of the fridge, into my cookie mix, and then into the oven. The bars were simply delicious, and were a big hit with my family and me. I received these buttery sticks for testing purposes, but all of the expressed opinions are my own.
